Thank you for your comment. I do need to put more punctuation in my poetry, I forget sometimes. Thank you very much for your critique, I've been trying to write more and more recently to get even better so all critique helps.

Hi Shadowwrider, I enjoyed your poem. I particularly liked the second stanza where the poem turns and my reaction was Oh no, then it kind of went down from there before reaching its conclusion. I liked the ending though and thought it had notes of positivity, which was appreciated after reading about so much death lol.

For a critique, I would say that firstly, you could look at omitting some of the words. Like just in the first stanza. Linking to this I think there were a couple of sentences that needed commas or rewording, like the lines 'Running around face filled with glee' and 'Who they were are gone in a flash'. These sentences can work but they need a comma or line break in them to make sense and flow as I imagine you intended ie Who they were, gone in a flash (I think 'are' shouldn't be in there as 'are' is the present of were). Or if you wanted to keep it as a line: Who they were was gone in a flash. It is a similar thing with the other line: 'Running around, face filled with 

Damn, this poem is both absolutely hard-hitting, in both how unfair and cruel life can be, how small we are to stop the tragedies in said life, and how we must go on regardless?

But why must we? Is there a force that drives us on? Inertia? I do believe that is reader's problem to solve.

I like the poem, only criticism I can give is the lack of punctuation and the constant capitalization of each verse, it makes the poem flow weirdly, when a verse begins in lower case it makes is sound as its flowing from the previous one, where as if you begin in capital letters it makes it sound as its own statement, making the poem sound robotic.

Other than that, it is a wonderful poem.

This poem combines a flippant derision element with a genuine undertones of humour, and I'm not sure whether to be horrified or amused at each paragraph, the way it discusses such serious issues so trivially. There is truth in them, but still we avoid thinking about these things. Before the last two years I might not have paid attention, but I've closely encountered or read on the news all of these things recently. How else are we supposed to cope with this insanity than laugh?

Really original, and I quite like it. A piece of grammatical feedback: "It doesn’t matter if your big or small", the your should be you're. Unless there's some poetic license I'm missing here.

Buried in the ground

They can no longer make a sound

Once a cheerful soul

Now just a filled hole

But life moves on

Once a pet as happy as can be

Running around face filled with glee

A car driving swerves here and there

A pet flying through the air

But life moves on

Child with the future ahead

Can no longer get out of bed

A noose tied around its little neck

One snap and the parents are a wreck

But life goes on

Family burning in a house

One day loud now as quiet as a mouse

Their memories turn to ash

Who they were are gone in a flash

But life goes on

It doesn’t matter if your big or small

Your life can hit a wall

Whoever is dead or alive

You continue to try to strive
