I know that you are out there

Somewhere,

But I don't know what you look like,

If your eyes are dark or bright,

And I don't know how you smell

If it's like peach or caramel,

But I know that you are kind.

We will have our own space in time

And the world will move around us

In a way that is divine.

At first it will make us blind,

But when we open our eyes

It will be brighter

As we see the things

We never thought we'd find.

And there are bags you carry,

But it will all be worth it,

As there is room in mine.

You will not complete me,

But when I am with you

I will be completely

At home.

Cuddled around a fire,

With a warmth I've never known.
