Just Published My First Poetry Book At 19, Here Is A Poem From My Book!
Memories time faded away,
thoughts of yesterday fill my
mind.
They flow like the currents in
the ocean,
guided still images painted by motion.
Sometimes looking back I smile and laugh at the simple times way back.
A child like gaze running careless and free wasting away the bright sunny days.
Some days are cloudy, some days are grey, some days the rain pours over you as you struggle to run away.
The flowers start to bloom, the trees start to grow you hear laughter outside running in the bright sunshine, beautiful memories photos looking back on your lifetime.
It isn't a huge deal, just pretty excited and never thought I would be able to stick it out with writing a whole book but here I am! The book is a compilation of my poetry writings and I mainly published it for myself but if anyone read/bought it I would be beyond grateful and happy. Is this a self publish, and if so, how easy was the process? I’m curious for my own collection
Not OP but self publishing is easy. Look up kindle direct publishing - it’s the Amazon publishing platform. You can publish onto other platforms with draft2digital if you look up that too.
After signing up, the process is as easy as uploading your word document and a cover image. The hard part is actually getting any sales.
Oh awesome thanks for the info!
u/FromAffavor The process is pretty easy like u/Olympiano besides sales.
