I recently moved to Frisco, Tx from east coast and wondering if there are any swim schools/classes for adults. I finally want to overcome the fear of water. I googled and couldn’t find a solid answer, so relying on you guys.

This guy taught my kid to swim in about 5 lessons. I had my kid in group swim lessons, but it never took because he spent most of the time waiting his turn.
The lessons are at the guy's house, and it's not exactly Frisco, but it's worth the short drive. I highly recommend him.
Edit: looking at his website, it says Dallas but it's further north than that. Contact him for more info.

Your best bet would be to join some local Facebook groups and see who does them out of their home.
Agree with this. We started our kids at Emler. I think they would have learnt to swim there in five years or so. We then found someone giving lessons from home. They learned to swim there very quickly.

I seem to remember they had adult swimming classes at the Frisco Athletic Center indoor pool a few years back. You might check there.

I believe Emler Swim School teaches all ages, but you will be surrounded by kids. Frisco Athletic Center has swim lessons as well, but I’m not sure if either of these places are affected by COVID. There is also the Ford center off of Legacy. Good luck and good for you for facing this fear.
