That is awesome, lol.

There had been attempts to give all the dwarves horns, but it looked wonky. As such, only the red dwarf has horns in the final pixelart.

Just found the place atlas. Whoever this Virtual "Darby" is, must be quite nice.
The r/dwarffortress community took to the internet too find out who and why, managing to get Virtual Darby themselves on stream to denounce the actions and ban the fan that was demanding satisfaction.nnThe red horns remain on the last dwarf as homage to her sincerity and kindness Darby gave to the community.

We submitted an edit entry but it was either ignored or they didn't get to it yet, no idea how to find out which is true.

The virtualharby art and any references to her seem to have been removed from the atlas. Or at least I do not see them any more.

Yeah, looks like it was replaced with https://www.reddit.com/r/placeAtlas2/comments/twq9vm/dwarf_fortress/ And the former outpost site was added for whatever reason, doesn't even contain a link or anything to how it looked lol. Weird decisions over at the place atlas.
