A corner medicine cabinet

The outlet makes it a bit awkward. There’s not a lot of space for a cabinet. And a mirror on one side might look odd, idk.

You could make a cutout in the back of the cabinet to access the plug.

At that point it might just be easier to move the outlet.

Wasn't sure if it was a rental. If they own, then hell yeah and update that to GFCI

If you don't want to do that, I would just put a mirror on the left side and a shelf with something interesting to look at on the right side. It's unconventional, but that's okay.

I’d get an electrician to move it down. It should be a gfci outlet anyway.

GFCI outlet seconded. And I agree…a corner cabinet could definitely start just above the outlet

I would think putting a small cabinet above the outlet would be fine. Any lower and it would be awkward to use the faucet.

Alternatively, you might be able to do a corner self and prop a decorative mirror on top of it. That may look weird depending on the height of everything, but could work if the mirror ends up about face height!

Some people do corner mirrors

Edit: you can mount an oval mirror so that it is directly center of the corner.

Or buy a corner medicine cabinet which gives you a flat mirror face in the middle

A gallery of small mirrors on both side would be fun!

Mount a mirror with rotating arm and position it centered to the corner?

Shelves on the right and a mirror one the left

This was my thought too! Mirror on the left and then some shelves or even a nice painting or decor on the right above the outlet

two mirrors

A sink without cabinet or at least mirror is just weird.

I agree! We just moved into this house and hence my post asking for opinions haha

Mirror on left side and two floating shelves on other side with decorative bathroom items and a plant?

Clearly you are not in the UK, but having a normal plug socket that close to a sink would be a no and fail an electrical safety check over here. Shaver socket only allowed that close to the sink. Not meaning to be negative but basically is that safe? Any way to answer your question you need a corner cabinet with a mirror front as per someone else's post

We just moved into this house last week and definitely didn’t put that outlet there ourselves!

The curse of previous owners haunts us all...I would maybe get it changed if you can.

Check out the blog/Instagram Grit and Polish - they've been sharing some great off center and corner mirror inspiration plus sources.
