Thank you my friend! I changed the translation. Gratitude!

"The mud jumps" followed by the frog image is fantastic. I loved it! I feel like the word toad would work well instead of frog, it evokes a more somber feeling and flows after the word wet. Just my opinion!

Bom trabalho :)

And everything goes on in an eternal movement, after all there is poetry even in the most subtle things ;). This haiku is the image I took when I stopped on the road to smoke a cigarette. Thank you for contemplating the silence with me once again my friend!

Hello friend. I quite like this new haiku.

The mud jumps going into the smell of wet toad is quite clever. You initially seemingly personify the mud, giving movement. The reader thinks that the mud is erratic- possibly by heat, by the environment- perhaps a jungle? Giving rise to all these temperaments. So is brought to the mind all these different possibilities. Then "The smell of wed toad" makes the reader realize- no, its the toad, hiding underneath the mud, creating movement. And you introduce the toad well- you do not describe its movement, but say "the smell of wet toad"- a very passive image for a very moving picture. And I bet the wet toad smells, covered in mud.

You close with "gray afternoon"- again, a very passive image. We think of gray afternoons as passive, neither rain nor sun, just overcast. There's a lot going on here. Great job.

Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our [feedback guide](https://new.reddit.com/r/ocpoetry/wiki/feedbackcritiques), or look
