My dad worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers, and in 2004 he went to Iraq. He was involved with rebuilding the shipping port at Umm Qasr. They were in the process of selecting a contractor to do some work, and when the contractor was selected, it was to be kept a secret. Why? So that information could be passed on to Congress to give those scumbags a chance to buy stock in the chosen company before that information was made public. The very last thing i saw on his account was a video while the incident was happening. Telling people to stop.

How can you call it a failure when people are still on wait lists to get on, it's only been around a few months, and it's not even reached a wide release point yet? You can tell you really want to be able to say it failed. With that attitude from so called "conservatives" no wonder why you can't have nice things.
Doubling down on failure would be returning to twitter. Last I checked that platform screwed us big time. If you are this quick to go back for seconds then maybe something is wrong with you.
In case you forgot, twitter caused major harm to people like Trump and forced anyone who was serious about free speech to invest their time and money into alt tech. Now what is he supposed to do, just go back because they might let him? So the left gets rich from Musk, and the biggest advocates of free speech who put their money where their mouth is end up getting screwed. Those incentives are perverse and it's not how you win anything. The correct response here from Trump is to stay away from twitter and try to secure something in return (a sort of compensation for damages - either monetary or in guarantees about the platform's future) before even considering a return to the platform.
