Yeah, I saw that one. I was shaking my head at most of the comments.
The OP in a later comment then clarifies that she didn't want to try and find the person's contact info, but the bishop chastised her for not looking for it. Obviously, her gut reaction was the correct one, but you know priesthood authority made her go against her initial reaction and we all see how that turned out...

Imagine genuinely believing it's ok to track someone down who took steps to remove your access to their phone number and probably also address, since they moved several months ago, by contacting their family members. Disappointing. On the other hand, it definitely has happened to me, so I'm not surprised.

Cos the rules don’t apply to the Church. All logic and morality go out the window when it’s the Church. A law unto itself.

Mormons are some of the most pushy and arrogant people I've met. They are absolutely convinced that their beliefs and lifestyle is the only correct way and that everyone around them must be converted. They don't give a damn if you are happy outside of the church because to them it's not "true happiness."
They show up to your house unannounced, they hound you over the phone and they don't take no for an answer. They don't even consider for a minute that they might be intrusive or imposing; they don't consider they could be wrong.

I browse the supposedly smarter faithful sub. They occasionally verge on self-awareness. This time, not so much.
I got Perma banned for asking a question about why in places like Utah Arizona and Idaho are steaks having to combine if it shows that they're growing so much...
I got permabanned for posting that every member of that sub were bigots after the mods posted their unequivocal support for Holland's musket speech. Most satisfying ban I've had yet.
My ban was way too benign to be satisfying.
