Poem

Cascading from the sky,

Rivulets of water run down my window,

The car engine is humming.

She's sitting next to me there,

In the passenger seat,

Soaked and laughing, our wet bodies collide.

Her love envelops my being,

I no longer notice the rain.

Her pupils dilate as she stares into my soul, everything is laid bare,

I willingly become naked before her.

Drunk on her gaze,

I fall in love, and then begin to cry,

I can’t recognize the person I see reflected in her eyes.
