[Dreadgod] This is crazy

SpoilerCradle

When the silent king died Lindon had his share of the meal just like the other remaining dreadgods, And now Lindon is gonna murder the lot of them. As the last one standing ( and I think he'll be imao) how strong is he really gonna be, like fuck,how... this is insane!.

Not the last one standing... He is def going to find a way to have yerin consume one too...

darth_rangoOP•

Possible but with yerin it'll be just like how she consumed redmoon, as far as we know she's not a dreadgod.

I think that if she can Consume enough of the Phoenix's spawn, she can work her way up to Consuming the Phoenix itself.

With enough of the Phoenix's essence inside her, and the skills/techniques/knowledge she acrues with each feeding, she can take its place when it dies.

yik111•

Muttering.. so the gang consumes the dread gods and ascends.

Lindon got s1. She gets the phoenix. Zeil gets the titan and orthos the weeping dragon?

13
IICVX•

Ziel has a grudge against the dragon tho and Orthos is more of a titan person

fiveof9Uncrowned•

I dont think orthos and ziel consume the other 2 just based on them having no hunger aspects to their current path, but i do think Lindon makes them some monarch killing weapons out of their cores. A hammer from the weeping dragon for Ziel and a shell/armor for orthos from the wandering titan.

With enough of the Phoenix's essence inside her, and the skills/techniques/knowledge she acrues

I can imagine this, red faith's remnant is gonna teach her some new stuff.

With enough of the Phoenix's essence inside her, and the skills/techniques/knowledge she acrues with each feeding, she can take its place when it dies.

She'd need Dross for that, and even then it probably wouldn't be enough. It took Emriss, Dross, Malice and Northstrider to lessen the burden of the Silent King's will enough for Lindon to consume it directly. So the gang would need to be monarchs to help her bare its will, because once the Dragon dies the will of the Phoenix and Titan is gonna get stronger and have stronger wills.

PlaceboJesus Lurks in the Shadows•

She'd need Dross for that

No. She has the ability from Ruby. It's what blood shadows do.
She's part blood shadow now.

What do you think the duel was about at Redmoon?
She was learning to incorporate Hunger and fed on his blood shadow.

He can eat it then make her a whole set of limited edition bleeding Phoenix scales.

With Shen having the binding for subject 1, I have to wonder if he's going to get a powerup as well and be the big bad of the last book.

10
epbrown01•

Wasn't that his original plan? To use the binding to rule over the Dreadgods and take over the world? Before these meddling kids...

7
darth_rangoOP•

Yeah! The guy is procrastinating for sure, he was set to be the big bad in dreadgod but actually sidelined and now I feel malice is the one destined to be the big bad rather than him.

4
KholinAdolin•

If he incorporates the binding into his body, he’ll be a match for lindon or stronger as he gets each power up

1
Ashamed-Record9283•

He saw real strength and power when the Mad King arrived in Cradle. Then he saw the true power of Ozriel, I believe his goals changed at that moment.

10
RangerBumble•

Pretty sure the point is to be able to smack an Abidan in the face and take out Vroshir with impunity.

8
thirdbrunch•

There is an extremely low chance the gang gets to Abidan and Vroshir smacking level in one book, basically 0. This series is the story of Cradle, if they fight either group it will be in a later series. That’s still a massive power jump even past Monarch, and there’s a ton left on Cradle to wrap up in one book anyways.

10
illpicklaterTeam Little Blue•

Depends on the Abidan, Lindon won’t be slapping judges around any time soon, but I think he could already take on a lot of the lower level Abidan

6
EvilNuffTeam Dross•

There is only one book left after Dreadgod. At a minimum Will has to wrap up events on Cradle with the Monarchs/Dreadgods plus the Ozriel Vroshir Abidan events. So I would say there is an almost guaranteed certainty that they get to Vroshir smacking level in the last book.

thirdbrunch•

I’m pretty sure Suriel and Oz will handle it by themselves. There’s already a 10% chance they both survive from what Makiel and the Mad King saw, and that’s without whatever fuckery Oz has ready that the others probably don’t see in Fate.

8
EvilNuffTeam Dross•

They'll handle the current situation but not the overall Abidan plot thread. There has been too much foreshadowing that Lindon will create a new set of mantles to compete with the Abidan for it not to happen. Hence my comment about them getting to that level.

2
darth_rangoOP•

So this is my take also, how will will( that's not confusing at all) connect cradle plot line with judges' plot line in one book? And wrap everything up neatly mmmh!? Something too crazy needs to happen like let's say impossible power up for the gang.

0
thirdbrunch•

Abidan and Cradle plot will wrap up separately, Makiel gets banished for being a shit head, Cradle gang ascends, big happy reunion at the end and the gang becomes Executors to show up as future cameos or eventual Abidan series.

Far-Fortune4875•

I am shipping Lindon kills mad king so Eithan can rub it in the rest of the abidan faces

1
EvilNuffTeam Dross•

My 2c is the gang will emerge from the power level chamber, deal with the Dreadgods and Monarchs and ascend together. I am betting they create new mantles and ascend as a new Abidan to resolve the Abidan/Vroshir plot threads.

darth_rangoOP•

I saw a post the other day about Lindon ascending and saving ozriel from the mad king, super sketchy, I dismissed it but maybe the fellow had some sense.

3

No, impossible because mad king is fighting them while they’re fighting Malice. So the fight will be over by the time they head into the pocket world

3
epbrown01•

Yep. My suspicion is that Lindon's close to being able to face any Monarch one-on-one already. One more upgrade and he'll be technically unstoppable, though he'll be hampered by his concern for collateral damage.

7

Close? Faced NS empty palm to blood dragon.

Faced RS, banished him a second time.

Faced Malice and her Archlords with Yerin.

So yeah, that ship has sailed.

He wants to face multiple monarchs at once now.

9
FrogoftheforrestMajestic fire turtle•

Hunger sword from SK binding will allow yerin to consume tge phoenix maybe?

3
chojinra•

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!

Well, I'm sure the others will benefit from the other Dreadgods. In weapons, or in Yerin's case, theo whole damn Phoenix!

This raises the question for me…is Lindon still capable of becoming a monarch or in getting the biology of a dreadgod he can’t anymore?
