Hello, stranger.

Poem

Hello, stranger. Here's my name.

I feel like we're a bit the same.

‎

Here's my number, give me a call.

Let's take walks and go to the mall.

‎

Late night chats and conversations.

Swapping jokes and radio stations.

‎‎

Then after a while we get close,

you start to matter to me the most.

‎

Then I feel you start to get cold,

perhaps in time I'd gotten old...?

‎

Ignored texts and missed calls.

You kicked me out of your walls.

‎

All the trust that we built falls.

‎

Then comes the inevitable day,

when you take it all and walk away.

‎

And the ink dries from your pen...

And we become strangers again.

‎

I'm sorry.

Every time
