Hi all, I’m planning on getting a Microsoft Surface Go (not Pro) 2 soon so I can write while out of the house - before I do, I want to make sure Scrivener works on Windows 10s as that’s the op sys. I’ve searched but can’t find confirmation that scrivener 3 works on 10s.
Anyone able to confirm or deny?

Yep, it works. I have it on my Surface Pro, which runs Windows 10.
10s is different than 10
I did not realize that.
Not by default. You will need to "Switch out of S Mode"
Windows S mode requires that all apps come from the Microsoft Store.
I don't know if there is a cost to this or not, but it's done by downloading a special app from the Microsoft Store

I have only ever used it on Windows 10.
As Jason said, you will need to take the go out of S mode. Here are some instructions. It should be easy and free.
