This is a very prayerful poem that makes me feel hope and resilience, calm and peace. Very thoughtful and affecting

Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our [feedback guide](https://new.reddit.com/r/ocpoetry/wiki/feedbackcritiques), or look

You've written a very selfless poem. It's clear how much you care for others. I'm not who you wrote this for if anyone but good job. I will give one small piece of advice. You started with some solid rhymes but faded into kind of a freestyle. If that was your intention all the power to you but if it wasn't I would say pick one style and stick with it. Freestyle or rhymes, it becomes a bit clunky when you do both.

Thank you for sharing this. It’s very uplifting and filled with a strong sense of life

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.. a great read to wake up to.

May you realize that your love is not wrong

May you embrace your truth and sing its song

May you cast off your self oppression and let your sorrow make you strong

May your newfound life be fruitful and long

May the struggles you have endured be for reasons

May the seeds you've sewn blossom a better future

May you fight for your fellow man so that he can change as you have

May god give you the strength to live as you are

May you always keep your spirits strong and not giveaway to hate
