hello anxiety
Today I saw myself for the first time when
I slept, kept my head under my pillow,
body under the blanke,
It was an anxious feeling in this chest.
Who was I? de-attachment occurred almost
naturally,
Maybe more than this anxious internal tingling,
Or maybe both the tingling and the
nothingness holding my weight
Under the bed and above my body and head.
I said "screw it" im gonna love this anxious kid
as my own,
It said right back
”go eat healthy and do yoga”
I still don’t know if the anxious self was my
higher self
But that request certainly made me feel so to
hold myself tighter.
I wept and sighted at how
I have always missed the truth
Of parts of me- anxious ones, negative, crazy,
mad,arrogant,aloof,angry, sad,hopeless ones-
How much I’ve judged them
Like a person- I disown, reject, deny
The existence of,
just for the traits of them.
I wish I knew they were real,
Had needs, wants,magic,
directions,thoughts of their own,
wanting my good in between the lines.
It’s funny how my real self was hiding in these
Parts of me, almost like the common well
known mythology,
The best place god found to hide before
creation was
Within a human for he won't ever look inside-
Maybe it’s the truth-
maybe It all is
It all is
It all is
