RW4 with error 25 from back light that won't resolve - should I take the refund?

Isn't error 25 from holding down the brakes while turning it on?
That's the only way I can make it pop up at least.
Maybe I'm misremembering the code. Whatever it is, if the tail light is plugged in, electric assist doesn't work because of an error code, but it works fine when no tail light
Huh, maybe the tail light is causing a short? Do you have a way to test it by chance?
Edit: Also, to answer your question. I think a tail light causing this issue isn't a deal breaker like the sidewall of the RW4. The tail light can be replaced with pretty much anything aftermarket. Another idea is to check the wiring going to the tail light.
My taillight was broken (only the brake light) and after 4 months I received a replacement. It has no brake light. At all.
It hasn't even wires, because it's powered by 2 AA batteries. Sigh.
I guess that part was really in short supply. But soon Rad will have lots of replacement parts from all the refunded RadWagons. Unless they don't remove the useful parts, and scrap them right away. Rad can't sell them anymore because it can't provide warranty on bikes that might have been poorly used. And they don't want to sell them used, as is, because then they won't sell new bikes anymore.
I at least hope they take off the motors, controllers, and other useful parts and recycle them. Otherwise it's a sad idea that I sold my car to lower my carbon footprint and then that is negated by all those bikes that are destroyed.
Take the refund, rad bikes have always been terrible

This particular fault requires a new controller. If you’re otherwise happy with the bike and not affected by the tire issue just call and ask for a new controller. Maybe ten minutes to fix, all the connections are exposed and bam, working bike.
