This is a very nicely written poem. It accurately depicts the feeling of a wandering soul, and kinda leans into the fact that we humans are constantly searching for someone to trust, just to find the 'rocks and reefs' that instead demotivate us. Beautiful work man, very beautiful!

I love the hollow feel about this, It’s beautiful. It’s very simple but works very well, because It’s deep and emotional. I would have made the ending to hold more emotion or impact but I still liked this a lot. Good job

The sheer hopelessness of this piece is heart wrenching.  I can feel the pain and sorrow in it.  Well done.

I like this.  As a sailor my delight in this is easier but your words will ring true no matter the eyes that read them.

My soul a ship  

Sailing aimlessly  

On stygian seas

Lost and adrift  

In tumultuous deep  

Seeking a port  

In which to dock

But finding only  

Rocks and reefs  

To tear my hull  

And sink my dreams
