I suddenly feel so stupid now that I'm graduated, employed, and forced to use imperial units.
Anyone else?

I'm in OK and some professors definitely try to justify using imperial sometimes and it's super annoying. I don't want to work in kips/slugs/lbf/in... I really wish we could just switch over once and for all to SI.
leave the states my brothers, come to Europe.
It’s not actually that hard but it can be more complicated. Tbh I don’t invest that much energy into worrying about it.
Just use metric and don't tell anyone, what could possibly go wrong. /s
The appropriate units are those which are easiest to work with. That means you’ll switch depending on the problem.
My favorite is when you're working in SI but all measurements are actually imperial and just converted. So this feature needs to be 25.4 mm exactly? The tolerance is exactly 6.35 mm? Curious...
