Automatic Time Update

Tips & Tricks

Anyone got any ideas why the clock wouldn't have adjusted on the car automatically for DST? I have auto updates turned on in settings. I tried manually changing it then turning auto back on and it jumped an hour ahead again.

I noticed on my drive in to work this morning that the clock hadn't gone back an hour. By the end of my commute (about 20 minutes) it had corrected itself. So it just might need some time to update

Known issue on all Bolts. It can take up to a few days.

Had the same issue, manually changed the time zone and then changed it back to automatic and haven't noticed it jump ahead again.

I called OnStar with my old 2019. While chatting with the support person it fixed itself. Was it a coincidence or did they hit a button?

My EUV didn't feel like changing it up today either. I wonder if the central computers weren't patched for the new calendars!

The car uses the cell network to get the time, it's possible that it did it during that period.

I noticed something which I'm going to post separately for visibility: need to make sure the automatic timezone adjustment setting is enabled!

That did it for my EUV today instantly
