May have had a poor tournament with the boot but Cleary's passing and running was mint.
3rd try assist of the game. Not bad for someone who isn't a big game player.
The 2021 finals where Cleary set up like 4/7 of Penrith tries with his kicking to carry the attack was pretty good but I guess it doesn't count to some people or something.
if a team scores 7 tries in 4 games then the halfback probably didn't do a very good job
The reason was around half our starting 13 was so injured they couldn't train during finals and only played. To'o, Edwards, Cleary, JFH, Leota, Kikau.
So all the timing for the passing was out/the team got very fatigued. If you go back rewatch the gf you'll see Yeo a few times at the back end of the game looking to pass to a forward for a set up play and having no one in position to receive it so he takes the tackle. It's really unusual for Peneith when theor idenity is everyone knowong their role.
He's pretty quick for a prop, should try him in the centre's or fullback
Did he really play prop!?
Na I think he was in the centre's, the numbers were all up to fuck
I think this ruined a lot of people who had Samoa on the line lol, Trell doesn’t care about your multi.
That was a beautiful pass
That should be NSW left edge bar injury
Right edge of Turbo and To’o or put To’o on the right and Fox outside Turbo.
Nah the fox and Trellmit together is just too good to split up
Have to say solid 8 out of 10 for Latrell for the tournament
Mitchell as a prop would be devastating.
With that rig, something tells me this won't be the last time he wears #8
Edit - I regret nothing
He’s one of the elite players of the game and absolutely dominating, why does it matter how much he weighs? Send us a pic of your rig and we will rate you

😂😂😂
You could do some damage with that
Fuck, I missed it, props to the lad if he actually followed through lol
English fields and their tiny AF in-goal areas...
I admit I didn’t stay up to watch it. Was the kicking game basically eliminated?
Wouldn't say eliminated but definitely fewer attempts
Pretty much every kick went instantly dead. Definitely limited both teams
Made attacking in the red zone very difficult because the defence could rush up without fear of the grubber. Cleary still managed to pull off a few great passes and a sexy set play to get points.
Cleary did a mad little kick where he landed it right before the dead ball line and got it to bounce backwards to force a set restart but besides that there was maybe like 1 successful forced drop out. One by Grant or Hunt.
Yeah unfortunately they play the big games at Old Trafford. So not only have you got tiny in goal areas, it also has a steep AF drop off at the end.
I believe the rules are that the field must be 90m long but I don’t believe there is a minimum for width of the field or depth of in goal area.
Coincidentally soccer field are also 90m long and can be up to 90m wide making them interesting rugby pitches
It’s not English RL (or RU) fields.
It’s the decision to play the final at an ancient soccer ground.
I was at the 2013 RLWC final when an Aussie player got injured sliding over the drop and into the hoardings.
Nine years later, the final was played at the same venue, despite there being so many better options.
