L'ennui

Pastéis de nata,

porto wine, aged in oak,

Brazilian waiters, octopus, fresh

bright coloured tiles, cigarettes,

pottery, and citrus limes

Deplaned, home,

back to a Tuesday grind.

L'ennui, l'ennui,

Am I still alive?

L'ennui, mon ennui,

tepid blood, grey skies.
