Help identify power cord connector for hair straightner

Cord on the hair straightener is being finicky. Took it apart not expecting this connector. Looking to find the name so I can order a new one. My Google Fu is failing me, but does bring me an Alibaba page for an EU version. I am in need of an American polarized 2-prong end (nema1-15p, I believe).

No, go buy a new one.

Part of the appliance practically. The manufacturer may or may not have the cord assembly. If not, the appliance is unrepairable.

I ended up just getting a two prong polarized plug from the local hardware store. I cut out the receive side of this connector and spliced in the new plug. Works fine, but am saving up for a replacement in short order.

It looks like you could stick that in a cigarette lighter
If you plugged the other end into an outlet, would that give us perpetual power??
