My son wanted to do some research on how to become a pilot after going to the Brampton Caledon Airport today.

There was a table for their “college” flight program for $100k to get your CPL, which is an intensive 11 month program.

I did a little research after and found a 4 year course at Seneca and it seems like this is the only one of its kind in the GTA. Not sure if you graduate with a CPL.

So my question, how do you become a commercial pilot in the GTA?

When is a guest considered a tenant?

:24px-Flag_of_Ontario:Ontario

My mom lives in her condo and my sister lives with her. My sister (F33) is 6 months pregnant and her bf (M30) from Edmonton moved here temporarily into my moms condo until the baby is born. Now, things have changed and he’s not leaving.

My question is, is he a guest? Will he ever be considered a tenant?

Any recommendations for honey farms near the GTA? Preferable east end?

I know there’s tons of sites out there, but when I’m looking for all inclusive resorts from recommendations, I’m quoted approximately $6000 for 5 nights and 6 days (2 adults 1 child) Is this right?

How is everyone affording this? I make a decent amount of money and I think $6000 is an insane amount to spend for a week. There’s people that make less than me that have been to resorts that are quoting me $10k.

Last time I went on a “real” vacation was 10 years ago. I’m seriously not understanding. Am I just being a cheap ass or is there a specific time to book these vacations?

Update: wow, thanks everyone for the tips.

What I got from all the comments are use redtag or selloffvacations,

Has anyone been here? I’m a little apprehensive because my cousin wants to have a family camping trip here but NOT on the family sites. She said the social sites are first come first serve and are more spacious and will accommodate our party of 20 better (4-5 families) .

I’m a little apprehensive because she’s known to be a party animal and there will be young children and seniors on this trip. And I’ve only been to provincial sites where most people follow the rules and it’s peaceful.

Has anyone here been here recently? Is this place acceptable for all age groups?

Parents who registered their kids for Camp TO, do you get an email prior camp starting? Or don’t just show up with my kid?

Asking because I don’t know what I should pack for them and the only correspondence I received was my receipt.

I need help people of TO. I tried calling passport Canada, but can’t get through.

My son is 15, he will be turning 16 in Feb 2023. His current passport expires May 2023.

Now here is where I am confused. We have a trip planned December 2022 but his passport needs to be valid 6 months past the end of the trip. (Passport expires 5 months after trip)

Do I renew his child’s passport since he’s not 16 yet? Will it expire in February 2023 when he turns 16?

Like the title says, I have over 700 bottles to sell. I’m Extremely overwhelmed and not sure what to do.

A lot of them are still dirty and I just don’t have the energy or will to hand wash them all.

I’m losing my mind because my tiny apartment is so cluttered. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to post all these bottles? Only some are rare , I’m so desperate I’m willing to get rid of these for $1/bottle.

Someone please help me. I’m in Toronto Canada if that helps.

I currently have a 20k line of credit and a Visa with a $13k limit. None of these are carrying balances. I just received an option to increase my Visa credit limit to $22k.

I’m planning on purchasing a home in the next couple of years and possibly a vehicle. Would increasing my credit limit effect my purchasing power?

How they heck do you hide your sales? I went to options and turned it off, I’ve done this 3 times now, but it’s still showing.

Has this happened to anyone else? Help please!

In 2019 I hired an accountant to close my corporation. At first he told me there are more pressing matters and we got pushed back to the list, then Covid happened, and there was a huge backlog with the CRA. I was emailing him and calling constantly and he never replied and when he did it was "I will let you know when there is an update" or "I'm on vacation".

Today I finally said enough is enough and emailed him telling him I no longer need his services. I finally get a reply saying that he cant control the delay on the CRA side.

I called Service Ontario & CRA. My corporation is open, the do not have any documents that were submitted online or via mail.

I do know the accountant file

Hi all PFF members. Im helping my mom with her retirement and trying to determine the Federal Tax portion that should be deducted from her CPP.

I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, her 2021 NOA was approximately $25,000. What percentage should we deduct from her CPP?

Edit: mom retired in December 2021. Age is 65. I logged onto her service Canada account and saw that federal taxes were not being deducted and there is an option to opt it. Either a percentage or a dollar amount.

Hi everyone, please don’t laugh or scoff at my question. Literally financially illiterate and trying to start learning at 37.

I would like to purchase RRSPs.

So stupid question is, if I purchase it now doesn’t it count as purchasing it in 2022? Or because I purchased them before March 1st I can count it towards my 2021 contribution room?
