Hello my new Iceland friends! I arrived in this magnificent place yesterday (just missed that storm thankfully!) and I'm currently planning the last day of my trip a few days from now. Earlier today I booked the Solheimajokull 3h Easy Level Glacier Hike, but I've since seen the Katla Ice Cave Super Jeep Tour which starts at the exact same time. It'll be my last day in Iceland so I have to choose one or the other.

I really did want to see an ice cave on my trip here, but I've read mixed reviews that you don't spend a lot of time inside the cave - it's also quite a bit more expensi

Just discovered the Christmas update which has brought me back to the game after stalling out earlier in the year. I did a hard reset of all my progress back when the platinum tile release dropped, and since then I've grinded out a rail repute of 1670. I stopped playing because all my used tracks are now platinum, and the only thing left to do was some minor optimizing for distances between ports. Very happy to see some new content, and very excited that the game isn't abandoned!

So I just wanted to post to give thanks to the devs for a great game! I've gotten hundreds of hours of entertainment out of it, and looks like there'll be a few more added. I did want to request a feature for a fut

It occurred to me recently that I haven’t seen a High Winds event for a long time. They used to be my favourites and were usually good for big coin rewards, but now I only get the pop every balloon and the crash tests (plus the other usuals). My rail repute is currently 1531, but I don’t think I’ve seen a High Wind event since maybe 1200 or even less?

Is there some known point where those events stop? Or is this a known bug?

Can't see a dedicated live thread which is where I would have posted this otherwise.

PogChamps is on its third technical difficulties break right now because the chess.com servers keep crashing and de-syncing the game. Ironically, if Tyler1 and Jinitty knew what they were doing then the game would have been over a number of moves prior to the crash.

Hi folks, quick question about Mitti. I'm attempting to get it to recognize a video that has 4 channels of audio, but when I import it to Mitti it will only detect channel 1, and I don't see any way of selecting any others. Only one channel of audio shows up in the waveform, and there is nothing metering in the other 3 channels.

Am I missing something incredibly obvious? Do I need to have my file encoded in a certain way for this to work? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Edit: here's a screenshot of the details of the video file. https://i.imgur.com/XtUPlFX.png

Quick question, couldn’t find this specific answer searching. I’m considering buying an eSIM for an upcoming 2 week trip to Dublin. I have an iPhone SE3 which has one physical slot (used by my Canadian SIM) and one available eSIM. I’d like to keep my physical one active but only for receiving, so I’m looking to use eSIM in Ireland for day to day data and calls.

Looks to me like Vodafone has eSIM options, but I’m wondering if I could purchase and set it up now before I leave home? Or would I have to wait until I arrive in the country to activate it?

Any tips or other useful info would also be appreciated regarding phone plans. I know you can get a physical SIM at the airport and that’s my b

Now that the US is opening back up it's time to look into how to get fucked as gently as possible with phone roaming options for travel. Hopefully this is the right place for this question - turns out it doesn't belong in r/vancouver, and the r/canada rules directed me here.

My question that I couldn't find exact details about is whether it's worth it (or even possible) to upgrade a phone plan to one of the Can/US deals that permanently include US roaming and usage. For me (on Telus) this would be an extra $20 a month compared to my current plan. Which is less than a 3+ day trip using EasyRoam ($9 a day).

Math tells me that the permanent plan is worth it if I'll be in the US for 27 or mo

Brian Burke just commented on Tim & Sid about the "panic" in the Canucks market:

"I lived in Vancouver for 11 years - I was assistant GM for 5 years, then GM for 6 years. The panic is a very small number... the vast majority of fans in Vancouver are fantastic and loyal and knowledgable. There is this lunatic fringe that panics hysterically at the first sign of adversity. So what I would say to them is, there's no question the team is having trouble right now, but to blame Travis Green for that to me makes no sense."

He went on to conclude:

"I think some patience is warranted. But this is Canada, and particularly Vancouver - you win three, and they are measuring the streets in

Ex-pat here coming home for a visit soon, and don't have the benefit of having someone pick me up from the airport this time. I gotta get out to Gippsland on a V/Line bus, which is going to suck extra hard after a 15hr flight.

Anyone know if there's wifi on V/Line busses these days? Or any wifi available at the station so I can at least tell my family that the bus left on time (or that it didn't, which is what I'm more expecting)?
