I apologise if this is a stupid question...32/64 bit stuff is a bit confusing to me.
I use a 64-bit only Linux distro. I would like to use Wine to run some older games. But of course, with the world of 32 and 64 bit compatibility being what it is, it is not currently possible to install 32 bit Wine dependencies on my distro, without doing some really annoying stuff (adding repos elsewhere, risking making a FrankenDebian or building each of the 32 bit deps from source manually).
But, it seems that there is a Windows emulator for 32 bit programs under 64 bit Windows called Wow64. And it is currently possible to build Wine by compiling both a 32 bit
So Flatpak runs programs in containers, which are insulated from the OS. This is good but in this case I need Firefox to communicate with the OS’s messaging service in order for the browser extension to work from extensions.gnome.org
Looking at the Gitlab for the browser extension and for the gnome-chrome-shell package, it doesn’t appear that the maintainers are interested in helping facilitate Flatpak browsers and the Software app and Extensions app maintainers are not interested in the extra workload of implementing the feature of extension cataloguing and updating.
Does anyone have any suggestions for making this work? I understand flatseal can be used to grant additional permissions to
So police are trying to impose lockdowns in New South Whales and protestors are out and the police are doing their usual stuff (albeit with more restraint then they show for example against BLM or the like).
from my impressions, most folks I speak to online in these left/anarchist spaces seem to be not anti-vaxx. This is good but it got me thinking.
So if we live in our nice libertarian socialist town and the anti-vaxxers show up (or any other reactionary group for that matter), what do we do?
Since we abolished the cops, I’m curious how we could deal with it.
Thanks for your answers.
I travel, often living in places for several months, usually no more than a year. All over the world, so not in a set geographic region. I guess you could call me a digital nomad or something.
When I started living this way let's say I had some different political views. But since COVID I've kind of began to understand libertarian socialism and anarchism in particular.
Building communities, mutual aid, helping people, resisting and opposing hierarchy within myself, others and the world around me.
I've kind of been having some troubles lately though seeing how I fit into all this. Because my life is not really giving anything back to any of the places I go. I see poverty and disparity ever

New COVID restrictions announced starting tomorrow (March 5th) – restaurants closed for eating in, more enforcement, and more
independent.com.mt/articles/2021-03-04/local-...In our lease, here's the terms for giving notice:
least one (1) month before in the case where the lease is for a period of less than two (2) years;
Does that mean a calendar month or a ~30 day period any time, for example March 15th means lease is terminated on April 15th?
Hi, we live in Malta but I figured I'd book a weekend away in Valletta for my partner's birthday. What are some nice activities of things to actually do in Valletta (besides eating, but those recommendations are welcome too)?
I used the wolf gate glitch in front of Iosefka's clinic, and got access to Forbidden Woods right away. My question is, since Amelia makes it nighttime and Rom makes it bloodmoon time, if I kill them out of order, will I basically ruin my game since I won't be able to get back to bloodmoon after Amelia?
