I used to love playing MMORPGs. I am looking to possibly jump into another one, but I needed to catch up on what's actually being played now. Below are the ones I have played:

WoW: Played from Vanilla until Cata was released, quit and then came back for Legion. Unfortunately, the community was so terrible I decided to quit. Plus, it just felt very dated.

FFXIV: I loved ARR and HW was one of the most amazing expansions of any game I have played. I loved the traditional fantasy setting, the story and the music is some of the best I have heard. SB was...mixed for me. I think I just got tired of the same formula. It also lacked the same magic of HW.

I have a weird combination of hair. At the roots on up to about 3", my hair is straight. After that, it varies between very wavy to slightly curly. How do I manage to get the straight parts to curl like the rest? It looks kind of odd when it goes from perfectly straight to a bunch of curls.

I've spotted a few vehicles in my area that have Line-Ex on the bumpers. I always associated the liner they use with truck beds, but I like how it looks on bumpers as well.

Is it worth it? Does it hold up well? I don't do any off-road stuff, but I wouldn't mind some better durability on areas I might scrape against something. I definitely want it on my truck bed at some point...maybe kill two birds with one stone and get it on both areas.

I am 31 at this point and I am MtF. I've been on HRT now for about 18 months. I've seen a lot of changes - amazing even if my friends are to believed. Thing is, I still don't really pass in public. Sure, I look like 10 years younger and have much softer features, but something is still...missing. I don't know what it is. My voice is definitely in the masc range, but people often misgender me even when I have my mouth shut. I dress more androgynously, which probably doesn't help.

How long before you stopped seeing results on HRT? I am still hoping I'll see some more changes at 2-3 years, but I feel like things are slowing down. I am considering FFS, but it's so expensive and ev

Bought my first OTF knife a while back. It's a Lightning OTF knife. I like it overall for my purposes. However, I don't have a lot of hand strength. The action, while reliable, takes a lot of force. Is there a way to reduce the resistance? Do all OTF knives have a really stiff spring as a safety mechanism, or is this just a design flaw with the lightning knives? I know they are on the extremely cheap end of the spectrum in the realm of OTF knives.

I have recently finished The Kingkiller Chronicles and I am almost done with The Stormlight Archives. I have two book series on my radar: Malazan and The First Law. Malazan I hear is supposed to be hard to follow, but it seems to be praised by many. Which should be my next?

So I recently started a new job back in August. We work with a lot of products that contain 0.1% Sodium Azide as a preservative. Much to my surprise, the large wash solutions we have for our instruments are discarded down the sink. I was an idiot the other day and got a small amount on my clothing. My supervisor insisted at that concentration it wasn't a risk. At worst, I might get some mild skin irritation.

I had always heard that Sodium Azide was extremely toxic. Was this danger exaggerated?

I am around 16 months into HRT. I am pretty fortunate thus far in that I don't have a lot of very masculine features. Really, I just hate my nose and would like to reduce my brow bone a bit. My main source of dysphoria is my hairline. It's very bad. I am 100% set on getting a hair transplant, but I want FFS first so I can cover the scar. My jaw and chin are fairly soft already and I don't have a visible adam's apple.

From what I have gathered, Facial Team is a good group to look into. Deschamps-Braly, while amazing, is very expensive and I am not sure if I need aggressive work done. My top priority, above all else, is safety. I would rather get 50% of what I want with zero lo

I have had pretty short hair most of my life. I decided to grow it out to shoulder-length. I never knew I had such wavy hair. It starts out straight, then gets wavy, then gets curly towards the end.

Trying to tame the curls down only yields temporary results. Within a few hours, they have regained their...curliness.

I thought about letting my hair do what it wants instead of fighting to straighten it. Where should I begin? My stylist recommended Nioxin since my hair is fine, but it makes it very frizzy. I use the full system 2 daily. Trying now to just shampoo every other day with mixed results.

I've had short hair most of my life. I am growing it out. It's at shoulder length now.

I went to my hairdresser and he told me since I have fine, thin hair (and thinning) I should try Nioxin. My hair is also naturally slightly oily according to him.

Six months later, my hair is at a length where I can see problems more easily. It's frizzy all the time. If I go one day without shampooing, it gets extremely oily. It's very wavy, so I use a heat brush daily with some heat protectant to make myself presentable.

Any advice?

So I am awkwardly sitting around at a family gathering. Being the only LGBT person, I kind of feel out of place. It doesn't help that everyone introduces me by my deadname even though I have been very open about legally changing my name and being trans.

Despite being surrounded by dozens, I have never felt more alone in my life.

I get laser hair removal on my face at a local dermatology office. The results are fantastic. It's $175 per session for my face, which I can easily afford.

I asked the technician how much it would be for my chest. She said it would be $515 PER SESSION! There's no way I can afford that. That doesn't include my stomach, which I wanted to remove at the same time.

Are home laser devices a good option?

I am still in shock from what just happened. I gave my notice late last week and my last day was supposed to be the 24th. I got pulled into the office today and was told that I was terminated. My background check was still in process at the new employer. I am freaking out now since this could royally screw me over if something falls through.
