Can anyone recommend, from personal experience only please, a webSDR hat that absolutely 100% worked on their Raspberry Pi 4, more-or-less out of the box? Please also include (1) the OS version you’re running (2) The software version, and (3) whether you had to change operating systems or not in order to make it work.

My Pi 4 is running the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS.

I’m interested in HF mainly, but I’d also appreciate answers for VHF.

Thanks in advance!

What’s your QTH and on which bands do you hear regular activity? Do they seem to correspond to the ‘traditional’ band plan?

Special attention to mobile users! Where do you tune in when you’re on your normal routes?

The ‘traditional’ plan:

4 - 4x4’s / ORV’s 9 - “911” only 10 - Trucker 13 - RV / Marine 14 - Walkie-talkies 16 - 4x4 / ORV’s (and SSB) 17 - Trucker N/S 19 - Trucker E/W 20 - Trucker 36-40 - SSB

This was all over the internet and was easy to locate on YouTube up around 10 years ago, but I’m betting the YouTube Shorts-era algorithms probably killed it. In the format I always watched it was ~7-9 minutes long and had a very energizing soundtrack. Each clip was between 10-20 seconds and some of the styles demonstrated included Jeet Kun Do, Taekwondo, jujitsu, boxing, and many others. Thanks in advance!

I have an Alinco DX-70 and a Yaesu FT-60. I’d like to start experimenting with STTV and packet, but the same basics apply to all modes - figuring out external signal controls etc. Where do I start? I’m a recent Tech studying for my General, and I wouldn’t brag much about my technical ability.
