I'm just trying to figure out what, if anything, went wrong in the way the fight was handled. I think the easiest way to find mistakes would be to look at the situation from all parties' points of view. Point it out if you have different info than what I'm saying.

Mousasi - The easiest to look at. As he said himself: he was fighting, the ref stopped the action, he was ready to fight again, but they stopped the fight. Sucks for him but its a W. Seems fine to me.

Weidman - He believed the knee to be illegal. He was clearly trying to put his hands down to stop the knees. Some say he may have played up how hard it landed, but he was clearly tired and probably wanted a point deduction for Moose
