If you anyone wanted to try eternal formats on mtgo you can have access to every card for a couple weeks for 25$ by buying the "mythic event token"
Does anyone have any suggestions for VR games/apps that would fall more into the "Visual Art" category rather than being games? I've seen the page describing the entries at Venice Virtual Reality 2019 show but I'm having trouble finding where to purchase things of that caliber.
SightLine: The Chair is an example of the sort of thing I'm looking for, just something more modern ideally, something intense enough to give some people motion sickness or make them tap out is what I'm looking for.
I'm using a Quest 2 but I have PC streaming set up so anything that works with SteamVR/Oculus Rift is fine.
Doesn't have to not be a game if it has a good <30 minute section to show off that doesn't
Has anyone figured out what the maximum wireless bandwidth you can do with virtual desktop before the Quest 2 itself is the bottleneck?
I just got a Quest 2 and I'm going to upgrade some of my networking specifically for the Quest 2 as my only high bandwidth wifi device.
Most consumer wifi 6 routers can do way over 1GB on 5GHz but only have 1GB ethernet ports, It's a significant jump in price (nearly 2.5x) to get something with just a 2.5GB port, and wouldn't be worth it to me if the quest can't use that extra bandwidth anyways, because then I can wait until I can get an AP with 10GBe at a reasonable price to go with the rest of my 10GBe gear
I'm pretty new to a building guitars without using premade bodies and necks, I recently bought a router and am trying to make body templates but I'm having a hard time getting the curves to be even. They are more like a series of lines on the template and it comes off even worse once I route the body with a flush trim bit.
Is there any tools you guys use to make getting even curves? I've found using 80 grit sandpaper takes a long time and doesn't get even results on my 1/2" MDF templates. Is this just a practice thing or is there a better way to go about it?
I'm happy to buy more hand tools, as I quite enjoyed restoring my first plane recently. Would something like a flat or round bottom s
Seeing a weird rainbow pattern on text with my new Lenovo G34w-10 is this a defect or just a thing with VA panels?
imgur.com/a/LHqRbf3I have an old wrt54g that I'm going to stick outside permanently in a (hopefully) waterproof wooden box, but It's missing one of the antenna's
I can just solder a few inches of wire off the terminal or a loop from the center to the outside but I'm not sure which is correct, can someone point me in the right direction? I'm not too worried about it being ideal because it works somewhat with just the 1 antenna anyways and there's only ever going to be like 2 people using it at once.

reddit.com/r/diyguitar/Does anyone know somewhere that is selling bass necks fatter than the standard fender p bass neck? Even Warmoth doesn't seem to be doing it, the only ones I can find are the Allparts PJMO-FAT which isn't even that much fatter than a normal fender, less than 1/10th of an inch fatter.
I like Stingray necks and wanted to try something even fatter, I'm surprised that it seems like nowhere is even selling non-genuine stingray necks.
I'd also be curious if there's some medium-high quality places who would take custom orders for just a finished or unfinished neck.
Edit: to clarify i mean thick not wide, looking for something over an inch
Anyone know where I can find the reaper version 4 theme? It seems to be removed from reaper 6
I built a guitar kit from pitbull guitars recently. The imitation rosewood fretboard has seemed dry no matter how much lemon oil I put on it. Does anyone have any experience sealing imitation rosewood? Will polyurethane or tung oil finish take when I've already soaked it in lemon oil?
I know rosewood/imitation rosewood is traditionally oiled not finished, is there a reason for this other than preference? I prefer maple necks anyways so I wouldn't mind it being finished.
Has anyone found a solution for dryness on that period of kits with fake rosewood? I only got it because the kit I wanted (30" scale bass VI) didn't come with another option.
Fans died on my GPU, I was just did the old ziptie a fan on to the heatsink trick but I either have to choose between reasonable temps or quiet fans because the fan curve is based of the cpu temp not the gpu and my cpu runs rather cool.
I have read that just splicing the fans on to the old gpu fan will have power issues with the card expecting lower power fans, but if I were to just splice on the PWM and RPM wires leaving the power and ground wires to go to the motherboard would that let me use my gpu fan curve to control the new fans?
Has anyone tried something like this? I'm trying to set up this PC for someone who wouldn't be willing to listen to loud fans all the time or have a manual

I've been looking for a backpack sized pc case with a side window and space for a graphics card, does anyone know of any cases good with these specs? The closest one I've found is the Lian-li PC-05 but I can't find anywhere to buy that in Canada
I'm looking to finally get a new pc that I can overclock again, my local store has the i5 9600kf for 50$ cheaper than the 9600k and I'm seeing mixed things online amount whether the non-igpu ones overclock better or worse than the normal.
Anyone have any experience with the new kf ones? Or is there a site where people submit overclocks so I could compare average overclocks? I haven't kept up with all this for the last few years
I know sone would think that they would be lower binned because they probably had a faulty igpu but i am looking for real data not just speculation
