I have been pretty out of the loop, I am kinda curious what the pick between these 2 options would be. Have a convenient option to select either of these, but I do see there is a compromise with either.

The 9800x3d and 9070xt would be €300 more though.

Cross posting this from bgg again

Coast Watchers is the first entry in the Recon series, something new from Volko. A while back I already took a look at The Hunt for Blackbeard, which technically isn’t in the same series they are clearly related. The Hunt for Blackbeard took the fog of war you can get with block wargames and turned it into a cat and mouse game of hunter and hunted. With Coast Watchers this thinking gets pushed further to create something more unique, fully making it about hidden information, fog of war and the informational

Trying out Cross posting these from BGG. Seems it could be of interest to people here.

Baltic Empires has interested me for quite a while after it had landed on the P500. The big attraction for me was cutting into a piece of history that is left by the wayside too often. I also have liked quite a few of the strategic level treatment GMT has put out over the years, and the designer’s 1812 from last year was very good.

Hegemon One of the most distinct features of the game is the hegemony tracks. These will track the mercantile, production and military level of each power. Which in effect are just the amount of production building, trade centers and military units you have on the boa

When you select a mortis trail it list ordo dockets as part of the reward. It also lists some other resource I have never seen, represented by a medal. What is that?

I clicked to close the window when I got the first choice from the sets from Quartero, but now I can't reopen it again and make the choice. He only gives me the dialogue.

bugged, or just screwed cause of dodgy implementation? Cause it said I claimed it, but I only watched the dialogue.

I used to be able to level abilities and talents with one button. Now suddenly when I use the level up ability key I always have to open the talent window individually to skill those.

How do I turn that back on. Seems in setting they are split, but yesterday I could still do it that way.

I bet most people around here would see it sooner or later, but 1849 just became available.

It's not that big a chunk in comparison to the last batch, but I think 1849 will be particularly exciting for some.

So, it seems there is an instant build button if you want to throw extra money at speeding that up, but for the life of me I can't find the button that supposedly does that. Anyone can give me a pointer or a screenshot?

There was an anonymous email on the Giant bombcast that says Richard Garfield is no longer working with Valve. This hasn't been verified, so there is no real confirmation, but it seems within the realms of possibilities.

Here is the link with the discussion, they are good at putting in in context. There might be a lot of reasons why he is out, if this turns out to be real.

Link to the bit in question
