Is it legal to leave models out of a unit when deploying it? For example deploying a unit of 10 with only 8 models.

I'm specifically wanting to see if it's possible to fit a squad of 3 Brokyr Thunderkyn and a Brokyr Ironmaster in a Hekaton Land Fortress by leaving 2 of the e-cogs that come with the Ironmaster undeployed.

Haven't had any luck finding a definitive ruling on my own and it seems like kind of an edge case because how often do you want to just lose a couple models worth of wounds for no real value.

Initially posted in /personalfinance but was removed as the situation is largely legal in nature.

Background: I currently work a job making roughly 32K a year and have a mortgage on my home. Due to diligent saving I currently have about 30K in liquid (non-retirement fund) assets.

Situation: I am planning to try and go back to school to finish a degree needed for a possible career advancement and also have a potentially large medical expense looming. As such I am looking into both Financial Aid for college and Charity Care programs for the medical expenses. Based on my income I should be able to qualify for both but I am concerned that having those assets available may hurt

I'm working on building a mid/high end PC as an upgrade from my 6-7 year old system. I'm going with a Ryzen 5 3600 and using PCpartpicker I'm getting the error/warning that says on every motherboard I've seen that: "motherboard may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions. " My old computer is built on the AM3 chipset so I'm looking for a motherboard that will work with with the new chip without having to flash BIOS with an older chip.

Suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I'm building a new PC and I'm trying to decide on a Wi-Fi/internet option. I'm looking at PCI-E cards and got started thinking would a PCI-E card be the best option or would I maybe get better speeds by using a spare router as a bridge and running Ethernet from it to the wired connection on the back?

I feel like this might not be the right board to ask this on, but I don't know where else to try. PC building seemed like the closest subreddit for this kind of question.

Looking to build a new PC and I'm trying to cut costs where it's safe to. That said I'm looking at picking up some of the parts second hand, maybe on Ebay. Any recommendations, like what parts to avoid buying second hand, what should be safe to go with a used item for?

For Example: I'm a little apprehensive about buying a GPU used because it might have been from a mining rig and have 2000 hours of use at mid-high temps.
