Let's bike shed a bit about something light.

There are many underrated restaurants in San Francisco, and we should have a thread about that, as well, but there are a bunch of restaurants in San Francisco I think are overrated and I'd like to hear which ones you think are.

Local journalists: Feel free to steal the content here for a free article;)

I'll start with a few located close to each other:

Papalote - Crime: Not being very tasty compared to other taquerias. Also, their jarred salsa lacks flavor.

Beretta - Crime: Rude and incompetent waitstaff on multiple occasions. Pizza is better than average but not top 10.

Arizmendi Bakery - Crime: I get that you're vegan, but ca

I received this message from a banned commenter. Here is the message in its entirety:

from JohnKimble111 sent 1 day ago Hi, Thanks for standing up for free speech and supporting my right to contribute to Reddit. FYI I'm now banned from r/sanfrancisco for posting that video, even though it's completely unrelated to any sort of left or right wing politics and simply opposing genital mutilation. There's even a standard ban message accusing me of being "alt right". Here it is in case you haven't seen it, perhaps you'd like to share it on the sub? Here it is: You have been banned from participating in r/sanfrancisco. You can still view and subscribe to r/sanfrancisco, but you w

I posted this link, which I found on a Facebook page for a San Francisco neighborhood coalition, because I felt it was relevant to problems we face in San Francisco, and that page did, too: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/8/18/16162234/regional-inequality-cause (I posted it with an unedited title)

This was the ensuing response, yet again from an anonymous account instead of an identified account:

I was in a Lyft earlier this week in the TL and we were in the left lane, stuck behind two cyclists. Kind of annoying, but everyone deserves to use the road. We came to a red light and the two cyclists stopped ahead of us. The driver wanted to make a left turn, so he couldn't go around.

So I said "Don't worry--they will run the red light." And that is exactly what they both did. They couldn't wait 10 seconds. And the cop car behind us gave zero fucks.

Like clockwork.

Hey! Excited to see how a different moderation style works out. Would love to hear about how it is going to be, here.

Will posts with a question mark in them be auto-removed as if that was some sort of normal and good thing to do (when it's actually awful?)

Will find out when I hit "submit." Here I go...
