Hi, I've recently fathered a baby girl. She's two months old now and I'm noticing her hands are a little clammy and I'm worried I might have passed on this condition to her. Am I being paranoid? It has been warm lately, and I have noticed clammy hands on my sisters children (neither have HH) I read somewhere individuals tended to show symptoms earlier when one of their parents suffered from HH. I didn't have any symptoms until around 8 or 9 years old. Thanks!

I'm guessing we all suffer from a mutated gene, does anybody really know what gene this is? I see all the time of ways to treat HH. Surely the first step would be to find out why our body is sweating in the first place.

I'm so petrified of passing this condition onto her. She was unplanned but lately this is all I can think of... The depression and limitations its caused me... I think ill probably kill myself if she gets it, I can't live with the guilt!
