So I know that in All Japan, part of the philosophy was that matches were hard hitting and that any move could potentially end a match as a result. As such, even though wrestlers did have signature finishers, I suspect that they were a relatively rare treat for the audience, and only saw use in the most severe of situations, such as heated rivalries, championship matches, etc.

Was this the case, or am I mistaken?

Looking for Non-Combat Encounter (Danger?) Tables

Need Advice: Encounters & Adventures

Hello,

I could use some help tracking down a specific kind of rollable table. I hear some DMs use it in some live plays I consume. The table represents certain dangerous events that can happen to players during faster-paced, non-combat scenarios.

For example: the party is trying to quickly traverse an enchanted forest, which is constantly tempting you with false riches. Each player rolls on their turn, and depending on their roll, they may have taken a wrong turn and got separated from the group, fell for a trap, stepped on a tiger's tail and need to make a dex save to not take damage, etc.

I'm not sure what these are called, but just as Encounter

Hey all, I need some help brainstorming ideas.

I GM a game, and one of my players just started a vlog channel where he uploads himself doing mech acrobatic videos. If he were to go the Organization route, how would the Efficiency and Influence routes play out for this burgeoning content creator?

We've been experiencing increasingly frequent power surges in our home and I need someone certified to take a look around and determine what the issue is and what we need to do. Any electrician recommendations would be appreciated.

Edit: We called LG&E and they took a look. It was a loose neutral connection. They fixed it the same day I called. Lesson learned with how to handle this. Thanks to everyone for the tips!

I'm so happy to be playing this game from my childhood again, but I think I'm raising my dragon wrong.

After my first monster died, I decided to raise a beefy powerhouse dragon, thinking it would be a fun change from the high-speed, high-int Tiger that had gotten me to S-rank. What I'm finding instead is that training this dragon is sloooow going. It takes forever to raise its Skill and Defense, which is a bummer when the only Heavy Drill that raises Power lowers Speed, making it so that I'm not very much of a tank.

Am I just impatient? Am I a full on idiot? Any tips would be appreciated.

I just started playing a week or two ago, and I gotta ask: is it normal to run low on Hero Points? I've got a dozen heroes sitting in their covers because it costs me 350 for another roster.

I've gotten all of of the HP from the campaign and don't really see many hp from story and versus.

Hi! I'm looking for a wuxia/Kung Fu/martial arts fantasy system to run. The more streamlined or narrative driven the better, as I plan to run it over discord where simplicity leads to overall more engaging sessions for my group.

Has anyone ever played Legends of the Wulin who could tell me about it?

On another note, does anyone have any systems that they could recommend to me?

Cody rules. For starters, the caricature of the edgy mall goth teen-jeijer that I spent part of my life as is all at once subtle and over the top. Whether it's his comical collection of cosplay swords or him expressing his apathy towards WWE wrestler Roman Reigns, this character just hits on so many levels that my cheeks often hurt from laughing after just two minutes of him being on screen.

And then there's the dynamics that he brings into the group.

- The mix of parental confusion and concern that he brings out of Kingston and, admittedly also awesome new character, Iga

- The way that Pete gradually takes him under his wing, because Pete also knew what it was like to be

So, I'm just trying to clarify something. Can you send out your Kinsect in the middle of an insect glaive combo? I was trying it, but I *think* it was doing pheromone shot instead of kinsect shot.

I can't be certain since I'm not exactly great at the game yet.

Hello!

So I'm trying to put together a combat scenario that will involve something other than the usual "kill all enemies" objective. My general idea is that the enemy boss is attempting to flee to space in a fairly large ship, but the players can stop the launch by affecting specific environmental objects.

I was thinking it could maybe be a Control sitrep, but I can't quite figure out how to make the mechanics work exactly. I surely can't just say that if the players win by control points from just standing in a control zone that THAT somehow halts the launch.

What do you guys think? Should I instead make it so that they have to destroy or hack i

So the longer I look at the games' versions as they are and examine the company's history with how it supports its PC games, there just doesn't seem much reason to go with the PC version.

They probably won't be cross play for the PC ever, and the population probably is just going to stay unfortunately small.

I don't want this to be the case. I'm the kind of weirdo who still doesn't have PS Plus despite owning a PS4 for over half a decade, just because it seems like an unnecessary cost. I want to get the PC version, but it just seems like a choice that will leave me with fewer people to play with in the long run.

If someone wants to convince me otherwise, I'm happy to hear it.

Is it just me, or is there a sudden overabundance of Yasuo/Leona decks in ranked? Between yesterday and today, I feel like every other deck I faced was Yasuo/Leona.

I'm putzing around in High Silver/Low Gold, so maybe it's just because of my current ranking. That, or it's all a coincidence and I'm imagining things.

Judgement and the Flux Fissure input

SpoilerSPOILERS: JUDGMENT

Okay, so I'm a little confused about the Flux Fissure timing. This could be a case of me overthinking it, or not properly paying attention to what's happening when I'm hitting the buttons.

Based on the description I assumed it worked as follows:

  • Hold down the square button when in Tiger Style to enter the "Flux Fissure Stance".
  • Moving square prompt appears on screen
  • When shrinking square decreases to be within the boundaries of the static square, release the button for the full-power effect of the Flux Fissure attack

I thought I was doing this and it was working, but now I'm less consistent and I'm not sure why.

Sometimes, I'll release the button after the "charging" animation sta
