Hello, I have been looking to purchase a new phone that would last me for at least 2-3 years. Specifically, I intend to game for an hour in the train so that I can charge it at work. So longevity and gaming are my priority, while storage and cameras aren't. My current device is the Huawei P10.

I have heard that Oneplus supports their phones with software for several years. Does the increased charging speed degrade the battery's performance quicker over the years?
