Heh, new enemies to instantly empty your energy... and new grind to restore energy reliably.
It's nice to have a new alternative to energize or zenurik. thx for showing this imma grind this up
Definitely now that Unairu is such a good focus school too
You mean Madurai.
Unairu definitely the way to go for a lot of frames now for anyone with less than 400 logins.
Can anyone explain to me equipping the different schools, and the passives or whatever? Like do I NEED to have Naramon school equipped for Far-Sling to increase my dashing speed? And, also then do I NEED to have Madurai school actually equipped to use my Void Strike ability in Operator mode? I see some abilities might be bound to that school and others are passives but I'm not really understanding when to switch the equipped schools or which abilities are what.
What school do people usually leave equipped and why?
The nodes that are marked as way bounds can be unlocked to be active on all trees after they are maxed out. Other than that the nodes are only active on the school you have equipped at the moment.
Equipped school completely depends on build. I'll keep unairu for most because of the anti knockdown as it is bad for my shield gating due to the fact that if I get knocked down I will probably die. What you should do is just pick one tree that has nice nodes you like and choose that, most trees have some nice useful things so can't really go wrong with it imo.
A new one is good, but just in general we've had quite a few alternatives to Zenurik, at least, for a long time. People just haven't been looking at them because it's a bit more effort than just picking Zenurik. If anyone plays primarily frames with channeled ability though, they definitely should've been finding them since they pretty much all bypass having to play around Zenurik not working while you're using your kit.
BTW even just rank 1 is more than usable lol
Sometimes I wonder how something like this even got past QA... then I remember all the other things that were in the game for years before getting nerfed and fall deeper in to despair.
Probably got past QA because DE wants people to consider running schools other than Zenurik for energy on demand. (I mean, I had Zenurik maxed, and I'm considering using this instead to go Madurai for Void Angels and Unairu for general play.)
Eh, I've just started using energy pizzas.
The xoris and pre-helminth nerfs still makes me angry
Nice , now delete this post :)
it's good in a high density situation and worse anywhere else. quite clunky
I like this as an added option. It replenishes energy while channeling (unlike energy pizzas) so I see it being useful.
Groupers just got a lot better. Hell you can use Khora (or any frame with Gyre's 2 or Khora's 2) and then unairu's 2.
ON TOP OF THAT, orbs give energy through energy drain, so this works even with a safe frame like Ivara.
The only thing i don't like too much is that there's the chance that instead of dissipating the void sling, you'll actually void sling and collect ALL the orbs because drain is a thing
^(this greatly increased my use time for my very first main, Zephyr, and i love that)
Hell if this is reliable I may ditch SpectroRage/Siphon on my Vauban. Maybe slot in Breach Surge for even more Damage.
While this is recorded inside the simulacrum, you can still get a decent amount of motes in regular missions, even more in Steel Path ones due to the high enemy density.
Even with only 5 enemies, you can gain 5 x 10 energy per mote = 50 energy per cast. This ability is spammable, as long as your operator has energy to cast Void Sling.
Additionally, the motes are affected by vacuum and teammates can pick them up as well.
