Hi everyone, thanks in advance for your help. I apologize in advance for my ignorance on the subject matter.

My lab, located in the USA, recently purchased a biological safety cabinet that has a plug with one horizontal, one vertical, and one ground thing (-.l). Based on my reading, this type of outlet is used for circuits that are wired to take devices that pull 20 amps of current, as compared to regular "parellel" outlets (l.l) which are only wired for devices pulling 15 amps. However, despite the plug type on the cabinet, the technical information of the cabinet states that it has a FLA of 15 amps: http://imgur.com/xBSDPFf

My question is: would it be safe for me to just purchase a conv

I think we can all agree that negative stereotypes are... well... negative, in general, but when have these stereotypes benefited you?

Since I'm making the post, I'll give examples from my own experiences. I think that in social settings, the fact that I'm viewed as somewhat asexual/sexually-unthreatening allows me to fully embrace my somewhat lewd sense of humor. I think I can tell jokes to women that otherwise would have gone over poorly (maybe I'm just being creepy and don't even realize it, but I highly doubt it.)

Also, this same stereotype I think also at least partially benefited me by allowing me to get close to my otherwise very guarded girlfriend.

What level were you in sc2? Do you think your playstyle/preferences are influenced by the race you played in SC2?

For instance, I played protoss at a diamond level until the end of WoL. In general, I tend to play tanky heroes who's main contributions in battle are dependent on the positioning of the hero throughout the battle, i.e. bristleback and necrolyte. I think this had a lot to do with habit of positioning collosi in the midst of battle to stay alive as long as possible. I also like playing visage, as he is also somewhat positioning dependent, but I think landing bird stuns and keeping them alive while still dealing damage is also somewhat similar to keeping your sentries alive, in po

Hi guys, I started doing sase's aggressive 2-gate expand and really like it so far. my biggest problem with the build so far is holding a normal, decently executed 4-gate. even if i scout it i have a lot of trouble actually preventing the probe from dropping pylons outside my ramp. the guide to this build pretty much glosses over this, saying you will be able to prevent them from getting a pylon up near your base. i feel like this is the crux of defending a 4-gate, yet have been unable to do it with the units i have at the time when the 1 probe, 1 zealot, 1 stalker arrives at your base.

does anyone have replays of them beating a 4-gate with this build or any advice on how to hold? Thanks.

Height / Weight: 5' 9" / 155 lbs

Lift being done: Deadlift

Current 1RM: 300 lbs

Weight being used: 260

Previously I'd been setting my hips up a little deeper for the deadlift. I think I have relatively short legs for my height, which is why I was doing that. It felt ok, but I felt like maybe I wasn't doing them correctly and was really just "cheating" by adding more of a squat to the exercise. So I decided to return to the basics and use Mark Rippetoe's set up for the deadlift and pull that way. Should I go back to being deeper, or should I stick with the current form? Also, any other critiques you have about my form are completely welcome. Thanks i

Hey guys. So maybe this is a really bad time to be posting this given that other thread with Wendlar complaining about people "stealing" his work or whatever. After reading his book, I made a spreadsheet for calculating your routine. I know strstd.com essentially does the same thing, but you can also play with the parameters of your workouts, etc etc with Excel and I personally like just being able to change the "max" numbers and easily end up with a new routine. Just change the number under the "max" heading for each exercise and the rest of the routine generates itself.

Anyway, in case you aren't proficient with Excel or just plain lazy, you can use what I've made. I included a link to W

Completed over the course of 5 sessions over ~20-25 hours from September 2009 to November 2010 by Yutaro Sakai at The Skull and Sword in San Francisco. Source material (the ghost thing) is a mural I saw in a bar in Taiwan, I contacted the original artist and asked for pictures which he gladly provided. The animals are my dad (pig), my mom (rabbit), and my (pig) Chinese zodiac symbols. Cheers and thanks for looking! edit: errr, I thought I had made a post containing the album, but alas it did not, so here you go: http://imgur.com/a/KAl1e#7DpWV

maybe this is already old news, apologies if it is. if anyone's been paying attention to SC2casts these past few days you'll see a huge amount of ROOTSuggy's live commentaries going down on the site. i've watched pretty much all of them, the early ones pretty much just involve him talking shit, but after the 3rd or 4th one, he really improves quite a bit and starts giving commentary akin to psystarcraft's, where he's explaining what and why he does what he does. as a protoss main, i've found his commentaries to be incredibly helpful. here's his channel (seems he shares it with some other stuff though): http://www.youtube.com/user/StarcraftConnection cheers, hope this wasn't a repost for EVER

i noticed this mainly in 2v2 placement matches (since i can do various iterations of these whereas in 1v1 i cannot), but if i'm doing placement matches on a normal weeknight, i can do ridiculously stupid shit like mass carriers and win, whereas if i play placement matches late at night (as in like midnight) on a friday/saturday, i get creamed even if i play "seriously". this has resulted in all my placement matches where i play on weekends i end up in bronze and on weekdays i usually end up in silver or gold (my "serious" 2v2 is platinum with ~80 games played)
