My partner and I are first-time parents, and it has definitely been an interesting experience so far. Our twins were born prematurely and spent a couple of months in the NICU. Now that they are both home, we are trying to figure out a routine that works for everyone.

I’m currently still working Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, while my partner is home with the twins during the day. I want to help as much as possible when I’m home and be a very hands-on dad, but the biggest thing we are struggling with right now is how to divide up sleep.

Typically when I get home from work, I’ll cook dinner, clean up, shower, and then try to take over with the twins for a while so she can relax and decompress aft

We had our draft on Sunday and I took Josh Jacobs with my 4th pick not knowing his legal troubles (I’m new to football and a n00b to fantasy). Because of this, I am looking at ways I can improve my roster.

Today I got offered Quinshon Judkins for Garrett Wilson, and I want to know if that deal is worth it or if I should just go with 3 WR1’s. Judkins is projected on Yahoo to get 180.47pts this season, Wilson is projected 159.3.

Currently my roster is:

QB: Joe Burrow

RB: Chase Brown
RB: Tony Pollard
RB (Bench): Blake Corum
RB (Bench): Aaron Jones Sr.
RB (Bench): Josh Jacobs (CEL)
RB (IR): Isaiah Pacheco - Waiver Pick Up

WR: Puca Nacua
WR: AJ Brown
WR: Garrett Wilson

Back in December, I bought my first truck. A 2018 GMC Canyon SLT. 154,000km. Carfax showed it was very well maintained. Within hours of signing the paperwork though, I started to experience signs of the dreaded TCC transmission shudder. Luckily the dealership paid for that repair. In May, my engine thermostat had to be replaced and this week my water pump went.

I’m just here to vent. I have to have the worst luck.

I bought a Carlinkit Ultra3 Wireless CarPlay Adapter in December 2025 for my 2018 GMC Canyon. Today on my way home from work the stupid thing crashed (it’s done this about 5-6 times now in the last 6 months, but it’s been a while). It rebooted but and my phone connected but my vehicle didn’t.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Forgive me, I’m not a car guy. 2018 GMC Canyon.

The other day I went for a bit of a drive and when I got to my destination, my engine cooling fan ran for 5-10 minutes. First time it ever did that. I hauled some building materials back home and it did it again. After the engine fully cooled, I checked the coolant levels and it was low. I topped up the coolant with Prestone DexCool Extended Life 50/50
Premixed Anti-Freeze/Coolant for GM Vehicles, but the fan is still running. I have been told I might have to burp the system to get the air out. Does anybody know how to do that?

I bought a reciprocating saw online and it was supposed to come with a free battery as part of a promotion. The only reason I bought that particular saw was for the battery. They ended up cancelling the battery because they were out of stock. Because of that, I called and cancelled my order completely.

I checked my email and the refunded amount was $100 LESS than what I was charged.

Is it possible the refund for the battery will be separate? Any insight would be appreciated.

I’m going to give it a few days to see if the refund gets posted properly before I go nuclear on Customer Service.

My 2018 GMC Canyon SLT 4x4 is finally going to the shop this week to get the transmission shudder repaired. For context, I bought my truck from a Used Ford dealership. I had the issue since day 1 of purchase so they are taking it to GM to have it repaired on their dime since they don’t have the GM specific tools required for the job (apparently).

I’m not entirely sure what they’re going to be doing for the repairs, if it’s just a transmission fluid flush or if they’re also replacing the torque converter.

Out of curiosity, for those who have also had to have this repaired, what was your experience immediately after the repair?
