I'm considering a job offer in Greenville area. I wondered if anyone could suggest good school districts in the area. In particular, middle schools.
Also any other advice on neighborhoods to consider would be most appreciated. We've looking at Greer and Simpsonville. Good? Bad?
Can you imagine the massive ratings if HBO did an alternate final season of GOT as fans are demanding in a petition?
Edit: Just to be clear, I wasn't suggesting that the rise of the fandom proletariat was a good thing or considering the logistics of getting all the actors back. I was only suggesting that HBO could make a killing on ratings with an alternate final season.
But I must say, everyone's take on this an interesting discussion of the current television landscape.
TIL John Hughes wrote a script for Jaws 3 as a screwball comedy. Sadly, it was not made. Instead, we got an unintentionally funny version of Jaws 3.
diaboliquemagazine.com/jaws-never-jaws-3-peop...Are any alumni planning to go to the Rugters football game on October 10th in New Jersey? I am thinking of going (I live in the area), and I wondered if there was a section of the stadium where alumni would be concentrating. It would also be great to link up with other Spartans in the area in general.
I keep hearing us called "Sparty" by the talking heads on TV. How long has this been going on?
I know I graduated over 20 years ago, but we didn't call ourselves Sparty when I was on campus. Has this changed? Or is this just non-Spartans doing it as a shorthand?
When I was on campus we were the Spartans or State.
I don't know why, but this is irritating me. Do I just need to loosen up?
Thanks.
