I've always advocated for large servers so it feels like you're immersed in a living world and encouraged to interact with the people around you.

However, I have spent the last week and half trying to quest in Arathi, Stranglethorn, and Badlands and it has been absolutely miserable. Truly, truly awful. Every quest mob is dead. A sea of mob corpses as far as the game will load. There's so many people everywhere. I have to sit around and wait for a mob to spawn in my face while spamming my tag macro.

I've tried evenings, afternoons, nights, and mornings. Weekdays and weekends. I just want to quest. I love questing. It's a core part of the game. I can't do dungeon spam.

Is any of the convention content being streaming live this year? I've been looking forward to it for months since I can't attend in-person. But as I dig through the event schedule, I fear it won't be available.

Can it be done somehow??

I’m new to the game so I want to try weird stuff in order to learn, but not at the expense of throwing away a 20-30 hour game because I don’t understand a mechanism yet.

But I’m organically doing some of these achievements as I play and want to be able to earn them.

EDIT

Thank you all for the info and feedback. Generally it seems the course is to practice / learn without Ironman, missing achievements, and then switching to Ironman in the future when I know the game better.

After every tech you research, your district costs increase by XX production. Every time you finish a builder, the next builder costs an additional YY production.

Is there a mod that scales these down for you or even better allows you to set your own scalar? (So that XX and YY would be reduced by 25-50% or whatever % you want).

Overwhelmingly, it would be:

  1. staying home as much as possible and engaging in social distancing

  2. self isolating if in contact with the disease or traveling recently

  3. not stealing medical supplies

  4. not hoarding food and household supplies

But after that, how can we help??? Do you want food delivered or are you avoiding it? Anything we can do instead?

There are two auto catch settings on the Gotcha and they do not behave the way I expect them too.

It's so hard to troubleshoot this because finding new Pokemon to test with is difficult and I'd rather not make a new account just for this.

Settings:
Auto-catch: ON
Auto-catch new Pokémon ONLY: ON

Actual result: only throws at duplicate Pokemon

Desired result: throw at all Pokemon, both duplicate and new

What settings for the two options do I need to get the desired result?

Thanks!

I should still have 15h left on cooldown. I have not finished a quest today (my current quest is to hold libraries lol).

My app updated an hour or so ago.

My arena collection was down to 60g for 10 arenas 5h ago (which is pretty well known at this point), but my app hadn't updated at that point.
