Hello everyone! Last week I had an inner tube puncture. The roads are both often lousy with metallic debris and pothol-y where I am. I decided I am done with tubes. It's time to see if I can run tubeless. I was not able to find good reference material on anyone doing this on a Cowboy, so I thought I might share.

I used:

  • 30mm Muc-Off tubeless rim tape
  • Panaracer Gravelking 27.5x1.5 (38-584) tire
  • Generic five-way tubeless valve
  • Orange seal enduro
  • Pancake compressor

The setup was pretty standard as tubeless went. Twice around on the tape, puncture with a screwdriver, install valve, seat with air pressure, add 2 fluid ounces (60 ml) of sealant and inflate. It leaked a bit at first, s

  • The Influencer. Views Bumble as her ticket to stardom. Has replaced her self-esteem with her Instagram follower count. Easily spotted by a profile that tells you to find her on Insta. Totes not a spammer.

  • Complete Stereotype. She likes brunch and laughing and music and adventures and ZOMG PUPPIES!!! Has a picture of Machu Piccu and another of that one waterfall every woman uses. 50% chance of music festivals. Myths hint there may be a personality in there, somewhere.

The rains are back and our days and nights are miserable once again. I need a drink. Who wants to join me?

A few of you may remember that I did this last year. The biggest item last time was people wanted a more topic-organized sidebar, and I'd like to think that's been addressed.

So. It's been quite a year. We're now pushing 45,000 people. We've gone from two mods to five. There have been a few meetups. There's been a census. We made subreddit of the day (and I understand there was quite a voting push for that).

What I'd like now is feedback. What have we done right? What have we done wrong? What should we do more/less of?

Traffic numbers: monthly uniques are over 150k, monthly impressions over 2.5 million. Holy shit.

As trite as it may be, gentlemen, I wear the Clarks desert boots. I'm actually pretty happy with how they look (I personally couple them with jeans, a duster, and solid-color tees). My issue, however, is that I find myself needed replacement laces. The Clarks store has proven useless on this count. So I turn to you, my friends, for advice.

So today I'm on my way back from the dry cleaner's (they have my duster), I wind up at a bus stop outside a Gap. They've got a display that catches my eye. It looks like this:

Yeah, the photos suck, but there wasn't much I could do in terms of lighting. I'm struck by the fact that these are very similar colors, to my eye yielding a mottled appearance. Thoughts, gentlemen?
