5 star ice man. every time i fight him now and he has 3+ team up ap, his champion defender soaks the damage but no countdown tile appears... pretty infuriating.

Hello
I am a long time DM and want to get some time on the other side of the screen but my time is limited. Have applied to some pbp games but no success yet so I'll just put myself out here as a free agent.
I am interested in joining a more relaxed rp game. system isn't as important though i do prefer D&D and the like. I would be able to post a few times daily. Please consider me for any games.
so title says it all.
i listened to adventure zone but after phandelver not really my bag. i did listen to glass cannon a bit but would prefer a 5e option especially if they're running any published campaign
so i am going to be using defense rolls as a variant rule for my next campaign and am trying to figure out a good player facing benefit to rolling a 20 on the check. initially i was thinking an AoO or free use of another reaction/bonus action but i'm thinking these may be a bit powerful. any one else have experience with using it? I ccould use a traditional crit fumble chart for what happens to the baddies but would rather keep the whole thing player-facing and keep fewer rolls to speed up combat.
So I'm on the verge of maxing out my first 4 star character. since i'm part way into 5 star land and aside from dailies etc they're all i use, should i be considering selling her, or should i at least wait til i have a second with a few covers? i can only see me really needing her if she needs to fight one on one or something.
so not sure why it took me so long to encounter this... apocalypse passive 'cannot be stunned while an active mutant is on his team' or some wording like that... i downed his only mutant team mate and he's still immune. is this a thing?
I've been using BAC but my portfolio is growing to the point i want to diversify my put-selling as well. throw me some names and why you like em please! NYSE, high liquidity, weeklies a bonus, lower price also appreciated.
so here is the plan -
have a big (25k+) tfsa with whatever stocks, etfs, cash whatever in quest
open, fund with 1k, and link a margin account using 'margin power' which allows you to use the assets in said tfsa for margin.
sell otm naked puts in said margin account and avoid assignment
print money
been working for me this year ( i realize it's been an odd year) but i feel like so long as this is an option, i can make a few hundred extra in taxable option premium income per month. though quest has high commissions, the fact that i'm essentially leveraging assets from my tfsa that are already working on gaining value in the traditional way (capital appreciation and dividends) i'm making
hey
forever dm who just picked up foundry. loving it and poking around but wanna jump into a game and spend some time on the other side of the screen while i play around with a running game. not particular on the adventure if it's a module or what. i can pay if needs be i just need a game monday nights starting around 7-8 eastern.
hello all
reposting as previous title was weak.
30-something canadian guy who just got foundry but even with the great tutorials and support i feel a bit lost trying to create a game. would like some time on the other side of the dm screen any way so looking for a good group. i would like to play 5e D&D or any other D&D-like game including osr, 3.x, pathfinder 1/2e etc.
i've been playing since 1999 and mostly a dm. willing to play whatever role your party wants or needs, am pretty laidback and like to joke around but like to get into the game when it's on.
please consider me for a short game if it's a few sessions or a longer term campaign i'm down.
so is it just me or is there no reason for this to be a clickable attack? should not the game detect when this is an option and apply it, maybe with a bit of text or sneaky symbol when you attack? also offhand attack = sneak attack if missed with primary hand, a la the tabletop version
so it's a weapon from the nether realm... is this a patron you choose if you don't want any rp with your patron? like as a dm you could flavour it up but there is less to go on than even just saying 'it's a fiend' or 'it's a great old one' etc.
am i missing something here?
So here's the thing. I can press more and more encounters into the party or use wandering monsters to ruin their rests, but I just wanted an idea of how other DMs do it. 5e vanilla rest mechanics (even short rest) can make the adventuring day a bit of a breeze unless you throw a lot of combats at the party... or do you just have more pressure, timed events where they kinda' are forced to wade through a dungeon/area and fight whatever comes at them?
My ideal was one or two combats in a session, and then some rp, exploration, etc. but it seems like this makes things far less challenging on a longer timeline because the team can just 'go nova' as they say and burn all the best abilities in th
