I have 4 yo of experience as SWE and worked for some big corpos, but not FAANG level.

Now I have opportunity through some vendor company to work as FAANG contractor.

Would it be a big break for my career? Is it worth taking, if the potential pay is at 60-70 percent of what's possible for me?

I am kind off hyped for the opportunity, as working in FAANG was always my dream, obviously, but I am not sure how truly special it is.

I have 4 yo of experience as AI engineer and worked for big corpos like consulting big 4 or major automotive.

Now I have opportunity through some vendor company to work as a Google contractor as forward deployed engineer implementing agentic solutions for some clients.

So, long story short, I'm a hardworking person. For 8 of the last 10 years, I've been attending therapy and working hard on improving myself. As a psychologist, I also conduct therapy helping others for last 3 years. Alongside that, I’m a self-taught programmer who, four months ago, landed the job of my dreams. I also have other side gigs with programming. Over the past year, I’ve lost 40 kg and improved my appearance to the point that I've been in the fashion show. I’ve been consistently working out for years, avoid alcohol, don’t smoke, and stay clear of drugs. I often hear that I am a fun, smart and good looking person.

However, relationships have always been my biggest challenge. I was

Hi guys!

Currently I am developing project to build my MLops portfolio.

It's chatbot related and the project, which requires around 24 gb of vram to run, as well as less than 100 gb of storage for LLM.

I have already build FastApi app and dockerized it and it works well locally on my GPU.

What I want to do now is to deploy it - but the problem is that I don't know which technologies should I use.

Preferablly I would want to do it for free or for very low cost, and once deployed gate under password, so it's only avaliable when I want to present it to someone.

I also would love to use AWS in some form for it, to gain experience with cloud platform.

Could you guys maybe point in a direct

Hello there! I am looking for a home theater setup for 1.5 - 2k $.

I'm very new to audio, but I want it to complement my projector screen for a full home cinema experience. I want whole sound to go on cable, so I don't care about any bluetooth functionalities. Only sound quality for most demanding movies, such as Nolan movies or The Batman interests me.

The set from Teufel I've stumbled upon goes for 2k $. Is it a good buy? The parts are as follows:

  • audio amplifier: AV Denon AVR-X2800H DAB
  • columns: UL 40 Mk3 18
  • central speaker: UL 40 C Mk3 18
  • effect speakers: UL 20 Mk3 18
  • subwoofer: T 10

Another option I have found goes for 1.6k $, but is without subwoofer. I would need to buy
