I have been on Vyvanse 30mg/60mg and concerta 27mg but switched to Adderall xr due to side effects. Both medications helped my chronic fatigue 10x fold but ever since starting Adderall I am constantly tired/yawning no matter how much sleep I get. I do notice that I've been getting distracted more easily and super forgetful. Example: Parked my car and was on my way into my house when I realized I left my keys in the ignition with the car running.

Is my dose too low? Anyone have any tips and tricks to help improve the effects of Adderall? Does diet play a part?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My nparent was bullied by family and friends for being "the fat kid", I guess what they learned from this lesson was fat = bad and not once considering that maybe it was the ridicule that caused their trauma.

They didn't want me to get bullied and go through the same thing, so to "break the cycle", they restricted my food (what I ate, how much, etc.) shamed me for eating "bad foods"/having seconds when at family gatherings or parties and also added 30 minutes of exercise on the treadmill as part of my daily chores.

As a result, I developed BED and self esteem issues. Yay.

I've had the bad habit of pulling out a hair here and there starting a few years back when I was going through a lot of stress, abuse and trauma in my life. It was never that serious, I always thought it was just a bad habit and I didn't know until recently it was a disorder. I used to only pull out and couple hairs here and there but since I started vyvanse it's gotten much worse.

I've recently been increased from 30mg to 60mg and my hair pulling is out of control. I have pulled out half of my head of hair over the last two weeks and I can't stop. The trances are uncontrollable, I am screaming at myself to stop but it's like my mind and body are detached. I don't think there has been a si

Well that went exactly how I thought it was going to go... Crocodile tears, framing the past and making things up/ changing details so that makes it seem like I lack empathy, that I am a spoiled selfish daughter that only wants her for her money, that she's at fault for my horrible behavior because she spoiled me too much as a child.

According to her, she loves me more than anything in the world and would've done anything I asked if it meant repairing our relationship (talking about our 5 year no contact period) yet at the same time, she was the reason I was homeless which caused me to lose my job.

she only had space for my cat which she neglected and resulted in her death and then guilt

My doctor is upping me to 60 mg, I've been on 30mg for about a month. I only got recently diagnosed and I've been on vyvanse for about two months, I think. I started at 20mg. Is this too much of a dosage increase? It seems like a lot but I trust my doctor. Anyone have any experience jumping to this high of a dose?

I don't think there has been a single gift that my nmom gave me that did not benefit her in some way. All my "gifts" have been vacations that she wants to go on, hair/nail appointments that she has already booked for herself, spa days that she drags me along as a plus one for. I don't think there has been a single gift that she has given me that was something only I like or enjoy.

Then she will go on to friends or family about how good I have it, how spoiled I am and how she is the best mom in the world. I never asked for these gifts, she just randomly decides, books without my consent and if I don't go I'm the "ungrateful and selfish daughter".

But it doesn't end there, days, weeks, mon

I struggle a lot when it comes to speech and I lose my train of thought or forget words often, this results in people interrupting before I can finish my story/train of thought. I think it's because they think I'm done talking before I can get to the point or maybe it's out of boredom because I take too long to finish what I want to say. I stutter, repeat words and find certain thoughts or ideas looping, because of that I struggle to transition to a new thought I'm trying to express.

I just wish I could talk clearly and fluidly like most people. I'm on 30mg of Vyvanse but it has not improved my speech "impediment" (if you can call it that.) it gives me so much anxiety, triggers my rsd and

I've been dealing with crippling anxiety my entire life and as a result, depression. I'm 34 and just recently diagnosed with ADHD. I have been on 30mg of Vyvanse for just over 2 weeks and it has helped with rumination when it comes to small things, things that most people would brush off, but would throw me into an obsessive spiral.

Although, I find myself constantly thinking "I wish I was more like..." Or "I wish I could do this..." And constantly getting mad at myself for not being a better version of the person I am now.

I know I shouldn't take him back but I've never seen this level of introspection from him before. We had quite a few long talks and he has never been so open and vulnerable like this. I was educating him about attachment styles and he actually went out of his way to watch a bunch of videos and do his own research.

He agrees fully that he is a da and told me he doesn't want to be this way anymore and will do everything he can to change. That he wasn't fully aware of what he was doing and how it was affecting me. We've been through two other shut downs and despite all the pain and heartache he caused he never really seemed to bother him. He has apologized in the past but it never really seem
