I'd like to hear people's personal opinions on Smite. I understand that this being the official Smite subreddit will cause a gigantic bias around the subject but i'd like to know what you all would rate the game itself if it were to be released today.

I've been asking around and even doing my own experiments to actually see what the game would be rated by others. I've even gone as far as to ask my personal friends what they thought of the game after introducing it to them.

In my personal opinion i'd rate the game a 6.5/10 but that i'd like to hear everyone else's take on the subject.

Okay Smite players, I understand that you may love this game, but while i've browsed this forum, i've noticed that every rebuttal to a legitimate issue in Smite(Shitty servers, bad matchmaking, smurfing causing new players to quit, Hirez sweeping problems under the rug rather than fixing them ect) has been "Well, the game is in beta". I personally believe that the time of using this excuse is over. The game has been out for about a year, and it is about to be released in less than 2 months, You cannot constantly use beta as a crutch when defending this game.
