I am typing this without even knowing what it will be. Some thoughts are distracting me from more important projects. I hope this helps in dealing with bothersome thoughts and feelings.

I never develop attraction gradually. As much as I would like to, I either have no romantic attraction to a person, or am completely infatuated. Obviously I don't mean strangers, but acquaintances and friends.

I swore to myself after an impossible crush last year that it would never happen again. Yet, here I am, almost exactly a year later; falling into the same trap with someone new.

I find myself thinking about him a little more each day. I think it is partly the season. Over the next two months I'll see

She died four months ago to the day. Last night, I dreamed vividly of her.

It was a stormy summer evening. The kind that always terrified her, but that everyone in my family loved. Storms brought relief from the burning desert sun.

For the first time in months I saw her walk the halls of our house again. She panted her anxious breath as rain poured from the sky onto the sunroofs. Thunder roared outside and the house shook. I saw clearly her brown eyes, trembling body, and large pink tongue dotted with black spots. Her fur was just as I remembered it. A deep black with just the slightest peppering of gray around the mouth and on her elbows.

Somewhere in the house - I'm not exactly sure whe

I wish the Mandate of Heaven content pack added some skins for the Ainu. I want some heavily bearded warriors in decorative tunics please so I can do the Reconquista of the East in style. Get these polar suits outta here!

Power went out here near Indian School and Eubank. Anyone else anywhere in the city experiencing it? Any one have any news from PNM? I didn't get an estimation after reporting the outage.

I just started a job that I am really excited about. I love the work I do and I just love working. I was unemployed for a few months after graduating and I just couldn't stand having nothing to do.

I make about $10.50 an hour, but it isn't all bad because the educational opportunities offered as benefits. I also have career advancement opportunities with the job including several pay raises within my grade.

I have been somewhat obsessively going over pay breakdowns, taxes, deductions, health insurance, etc. and considered more deeply what exactly a $15 min wage or $1000 a month would look like for me. Here are the numbers.

Hey all!

Just got a Galaxy S10e about a week ago. I was messing around with some settings and initially thought it'd be annoying to have the fingerprint sensor of the power button always read allowing the phone to unlock simply by putting my finger on it. But now, I'm realizing for the long term durability it'd be a good idea.

For the life of me, I can't find it in settings to change it back! Anyone know what I'm talking about and can help?

To Calrify: I use to not have to click to get the sensor to read my fingerprint. I changed something thinking I'd prefer having to click (I'm coming over from an iPhone). I would like to not have to click the power button to get it to read.

Thanks

Kinda just need to vent about something and ask for some advice.

For background, I'm a pretty high inhibition person. I don't really open up or try new things. I've been getting better the past few months ever since I came out, but its still a struggle.

Had a great time at a beautiful wedding yesterday. Come the dinner, I noticed a really cute guy sitting at another table. Later that night everyone was having a great time drinking and dancing, but I only joined in for a couple of dances and drank a couple of glasses of wine and a few beers. Part of me really wanted to approach him somehow, but he was already with his group at the wedding and I kept telling myself it'd be rude to try and st

M*A*S*H was one of my favorite TV shows growing up - and still is! I admittedly like the Potter/Hunnicut seasons more than the first three and often selectively watch these seasons. I just finished watching 'George' and God, I can't believe I have missed it for so long. I know for a fact I have seen it before. I've long been able to recall and episode about a gay soldier, but the details were a blur and all I can really remember is that it was a season with Frank.

I was probably ten or eleven when I last watched the episode, and had yet to realize that I was gay. Now, I am just in awe by the how well the subject was handled especially for 1974. There are no jokes at the expense of the ga

...and feel awful

I've been in a unfocused and stressed headspace - lots of personal and academic stuff - recently. Usually I'm on top of my work, but when my boss emailed me after my shift today that I missed a lot of work, I felt awful. I really take pride in my work, but I feel awful that I wasn't as diligent and efficient today.

I'm not sure how to apologize. They always seem to come off as insincere when I do it. My day feels ruined because of it now.
