This was probably between 2004 to 2007, so it would have been produced before 2007.
The flash, as I remember it, was either mostly, or started out as, primarily black and white, as it progresses, it at least adds red blood.
In the opening, it pans across machinery, particularly pistons smashing against each other, to the rhythm of the opening snare beat to Buch Dich, I think I remember flashes when the pistons smashed together as well, like in an engine.
I cannot remember details beyond that.
At some point, I believe it was on the Newgrounds Madness portal, though I have search multiple times, and come up empty handed.
Thanks in advance for your help in locating this, it was quite possi
Edit: Resolved, huge thanks to u/shokuninstudio for offering up the part I needed. Things like this are why I love the retro community.
I recently bought a pair of Powerbook G4 Titaniums, and the seller failed to mention that the hard drive ribbon cables were missing.
Does anyone know where to source the right ones? Will a cable from an Al model work if I can't find one?
Sony has patented a method to fix “god rays” in VR headsets like PSVR2
arstechnica.com/gaming/2022/02/sony-has-paten...I'm attempting to swap my SBZ for an older Ti right now for CMSS-3D support, alongside proper EAX support.
My main issue currently is that I've only been able to get the effect working (properly, with positional 5.1) under Foobar2000, using the legacy WASAPI support plugin in push or event configuration.
I've had zero luck with Media Player Classic, VLC, or any other media player.
My test file for whether it's working is the 2006 Immersion 5.1 release of Dark Side of the Moon, specifically the opening of Money due to the very clear distinction between channels.

This is a very niche request, but I'm hoping someone here knows something I don't.
I have a large music library (~1.2TB), and convert ALMOST all (excluding 5.1 surround releases) music within it to Opus VBR 128k for use with my phone, car, and laptop.
Currently, I use dBpoweramp's batch encoder for this task, however, it lease some things to be desired:
- I cannot exclude surround sound releases with conditional encoding, and have to do this manually
- I cannot purge file structures that no-longer exist in the source, which translates to a fair bit of file management when I make larger changes to my main library, which can constitute either an annoying amount of time fixi
Finally, the game feels like it has exceeded U7, the visceral feel that I've felt like U8 as a whole has lacked has come back full force with B8, and it feels fucking amazing.
With self collision enabled, it feels like a whole new game, actually, because I actually have to consider where I'm waving my own weapon, lest I knife myself in the dick. Or the nose. Or the kidney... Or was that the spleen?
Between the the new sound, impact, stab, and slash effects, and having to consider blade positioning around my body, it's brought a new level of brutal, strategic gameplay that wasn't there before.
That said, I do have a couple suggestions.

I have a Dell Latitude E6430 with an i7-3740QM, 8GB of RAM, and an Nvidia NVS 5200M.
Normally, my preferred OS for dual-booting is Mint, but I have found that upon enabling Nvidia On-Demand, Cinnamon crashes, and refuses to recover in non-fallback mode until I switch either to the Intel HD4000 iGPU, or the NVS 5200.
As I understand it, Optimus has several issues in Linux, but I'd like to not have to live with only Windows 10 on this laptop.
Are there any distros that would work well for this laptop?
I'd prefer Debian based, but I'm willing to try other flavors as well, so long as I can get Optimus support working properly.

Estimated year of release: I'm unsure of what exact year, however, I know for a fact it was around the release of Windows XP, so it was somewhere around 2001 in which I encountered it. The game itself may be older though, no older than I'd say 1998, however.
Graphics/art style: Color and aesthetic wise, I recall the palette being Blue, Purple, and Green, and I think I recall it being full 3D, my hazy memory makes it seem cartoonish, almost like the live-action Nickelodeon aesthetic of the time, with lots of green in particular.
Notable characters: N/A

I only have vague fragments to go on, and I'm unsure of the exact nature of the game, or even the color palette.
I believe I had found it in demo form, but I'm also unsure of that detail. Take any detail I give beyond the time around which it was made, and the platform, as flexible. I should note, I never got any farther than the initial stage of the game, and I could not figure it out at the time, so this is based on opening gameplay.

I can find no documentation as to how to do this, or if it is even possible.
But I have a server on which 7 Days to Die somehow interferes with another (TF2 Classic) servers Sourcemod installation, for some reason.
Figuring it has to do with some sort of weird port collision, I'd like to assign a different IP to the server, as our server has 5 IPs assignable.
