Hi, I was floxed one year ago. I recovered significantly after 8 months of terrible foot pain. However, in the last three weeks, I’ve had a flare up (I think attributed to exercises to help with back pain that my physio gave me, but I hadn’t told her about my feet issues).
Now I’m on a two month overseas trip, and I’m already struggling to walk and it’s only day 2..
How do I manage the rest of my trip if I’m already in pain?

I’m honestly at my wits end with all of this. I’m a 30 year old female, previously very healthy and able to engage in regular exercise. In early May of this year, I took 4x doses of levofloxacin for a resistant H pylori infection. I couldn’t complete the full course due to bad pain in my legs and feet. Since then, the pain has become mainly localised to my feet (sometimes with hand involvement, but no way near as bad as my feet). The symptoms include constant vibrating of the feet, spasming, sometimes burning/pins and needles, and every time I exercise (including after longer walks) I get massive painful flare ups which result in sharp cramping pain and toe spasms in my feet. These symptom
I (30F) recently had a skin prick test done for common food and environmental allergies. The results came back as being mildly allergic to common foods that I consume frequently, like eggs and dairy. However, when I consume these foods, I experience no adverse reactions. Is it possible that these results are actually false positive results? I really don’t want to give up eating dairy and eggs…
I’ve been seeing my therapist for a few months now, mostly for anxiety issues. I opened up to her in my most recent session that I’m closeted bisexual. When I spoke to her about my feelings towards another woman (I’m also a woman), I felt a sense that she was enjoying the story.. too much. She was leaning in towards me (which she has never previously done) and smiling. After the session, I felt extremely vulnerable and uncomfortable and it has now been two weeks since the appointment, and I’m dreading seeing her again. I’m not sure what it is exactly, but I feel like her body language seemed like she was too interested in what I was saying? Am I overreacting? Should I continue seeing this t
I took 4 doses of levofloxacin 500mg daily.. When I went to lay down to sleep last night, I noticed that my feet/toes were constantly vibrating and twitching. Almost 24 hours later, the symptoms have not improved - I have since stopped taking the antibiotic. Are there any supplement recommendations to help with these symptoms?
I have a massive crush on my colleague at work. In person, I feel like we have a strong connection - we talk, flirt and laugh a lot together. At work and when we go out with other colleagues, I catch her staring at me when I’m not looking and if we do make eye contact, we’ll lock eyes for 4-5 seconds. She also makes a big effort to be physically close to me in person. She’s also invited me on an overseas holiday with her (which I didn’t go on) and makes hints at going on a holiday with me in the future. I do feel as though my feelings are reciprocated. However, the one thing that makes me unsure is her texting habits. She’ll rarely respond to my texts - sometimes not even opening the message
I was diagnosed with H pylori in December 2024, but am asymptomatic. I completed a one week course of esomeprazole, amoxicillin, clarithromycin. Unfortunately the treatment has failed and I still am positive for H pylori. My GP has provided me with a referral to see a gastroenterologist for further treatment options, but I am absolutely terrified as I reacted badly the first set of antibiotics (the clarithromycin gave me anxiety, insomnia, BPPV, hearing loss and tinnitus - I couldn’t sleep for a full month even after finishing treatment). My question is - should I try seeing a naturopath instead? I have read online about success stories and with broccoli sprouts and cabbage juice etc. Or sh
I have been with my boyfriend for one year. Initially I thought things were incredible, I felt so happy being in a relationship with him. However, due to the nature of his work, he often travels interstate and overseas for work/conferences. Sometimes he is gone for up to two months at a time. I’d say in the year that we have been together, he’s been away for four months of it. And this is only going to continue to get worse - he may eventually have to work interstate for 4-5 years total.
When he’s away, I feel disconnected from him. We only message each other once or twice a day, and I’m the one who has to initiate a phone call (otherwise he will never call me first). I’ve expressed that
I’ve been dating this guy for a few weeks now and things are going well so far. I really like him a lot and he has told me that he really likes me. We added each other on social media a week ago. I was then watching his Instagram story highlights from his previous holidays - I then realised that the guy I’m currently dating previously went on two overseas holidays with a guy I used to date. One of these holidays occurred in January 2020 and the other was in 2018. In both holidays, they travelled in a group of four guys. For context - the guy that I used to date - we met on a dating app and went on six dates, and then he ghosted me. This occurred about 4 months ago. I am now incredibly st
I’ve had my kitten since he was 10 weeks old. In that period of time I’ve been able to work from home on most days. I’ve just been notified by my manager that as the project I’m working on is about to ramp up in intensity, it will be a requirement for me to work in the office 4-5 days each week for the next two months. Hearing this news really stresses me out, as my kitten is used to me being home with him on most days and he is quite a clingy cat. Will he be okay? I am dreading leaving him home for 9hrs per day for so many days each week 😭
I was wanting to visit my parent’s holiday house (1.5 hour drive away) to stay overnight for one night. The holiday house has a suitable room that I would be able to put my kitten in and all of his necessities/toys etc. Would this be okay? Or am I better off leaving my kitten at my home and having someone come to check up on him?
I live by myself in a townhouse. One week ago I adopted an 11 week old kitten (now 12 weeks old) from a shelter, who will be an indoors cat. I have been able to work from home this past week, which has been great as I’ve been able to provide him with company and affection during the day. However, from next week, I am expected to return to work in the office twice a week (the other three days I will continue to WFH). I am anxious about leaving him by himself for 9 hours straight during the day on the days that I am expected to work in the office. Will this be an issue? Please provide advice/recommendations for this situation.
