If I get filled top I'll happily pick ya boi, but when I'm mid I always second guess myself because I've legit never seen anyone ever during any period of time take him mid consistently, and I wonder why? I don't want to grief my team! The only thing I can think of is that he has really bad matchups mid generally, in which case maybe he can be alright picked into certain champs once enemy shows their pick. Mid seems like a really powerful role for him!

Hi from ryzemains btw

Got a strange new event with the Enigmatic Cache. No info about it in the wiki and didn't see anything about it in the patch notes, but maybe I missed something? Anyone else get a new cache event?

Most of the time in most games I get multiple response prompt windows whenever I meet a new empire. I used to dismiss it as a harmless bug until I noticed it was actually giving me tons of influence. It ends up giving me ~110-200 influence in total, often.

It even happened consistently in a recent multiplayer game I was in (to only me). I had the largest empire by like 2x systems and I still had 750 influence earlyish game (even having to blow excess on edicts once or twice)(not exterminator/devouring, etc btw). Everyone was going flat broke just trying to not get gobbled up by me.

To be honest, I experience gamebreaking bugs far more frequently in multiplayer than in solo

I started on the easiest settings, with a score factor of 3%. After I beat that, I turned just one setting up a single difficulty (infected population from very easy>easy, score factor of 22%) and literally the entire map is infected, funneling slowly in from all sides constantly. It must be at least 50x the enemies. I had 8 veteren rangers constantly wailing on the one side I was confident didn't have a VoD, and they didn't put a dent in it in 25 days before a single infected snuck past me during the first horde and ended my run.

Why does it increase in difficulty so quickly?

Edit: wow just lost my favorite start ever on the tenth day to a zombie that somehoe moved past my ranger undet

Disclaimer: I've only played Karthus a very few times after 7.22.

I even tested this in practice tool, level 18 full build Karthus (10 stack roa+Seraph's embrace) took almost half my mana to take level one raptors, red buff, and krugs with E strategically activated. In a pvp match it took me down to literally half mana just taking blue and gromp with RoA+Seraphs.

I first noticed this in a game where I went to base, came to lane with full mana a RoA and a tear, pushed 2 waves (activating E for only a few seconds total) and harrassed my lane opponent under turret with maybe 7-8 Qs and I was completely out of mana.

I never paid a ton of attention to it but I've played Karthus a lot and I'v

I don't mean the "script" they read, I mean the characters themselves, the actors just bringing themselves to the camera and presenting who they are. I think porn is really fascinating. You really don't get many opportunities to just observe people in such a vulnerable, animal state. I think many porn stars are very damaged people, and I think it's really interesting to see how they act.

One instance in particular that struck me recently: I've been reading Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy, and the edition I have has a quote on the cover which begins - "A classic American novel about regeneration through violence...." Every time I read the book I thought about that quote, trying to understa

I have a small problem. My friend has a smallish dog who used to love me. When I entered his house his dog would go crazy and we would play for a few minutes and he would jump up in chairs to sit with me. I'm not really special, he does this with everyone, but still he is generally a very friendly dog.

But one day he just turned against me. I came in the house and he wouldn't stop barking at me. Eventually after a lot of insistence from my friend, he will stop barking at me, but after that he just skulks around me and acts like everything I do is a threat. He looks scared to death of everything I do, and any sudden movement I make is met with a startled jolt from him.

I do, though, remembe

I'm not some next-level genius, but I read a lot (I have my whole life) and I love the language that I speak. My friends just don't share this passion with me and so when I talk to them half the time I just see a blank look come over their face as I realize that they no longer know what I'm saying. Often I find myself stopping in the middle of sentences to revise them to be easier to understand, which is very frustrating for me... There is almost no one in my life that I can speak to in the way that I would like.

Sometimes I think that I come off as pretentious when I let loose too much. Truly I just love English and I like expressing that - I want to share it with everyone! But people misu

"One farmer says to me, 'You cannot live on vegetable food solely, for it furnishes nothing to make bones with'; and so he religiously devotes a part of his day to supplying his system with the raw material of bones; walking all the while he talks behind his oxen, which, with vegetable-made bones, jerk him and his lumbering plow along in spite of every obstacle."

I make no claims as to the veracity of this argument, but it struck a chord with me as a family member recently implored me to reconsider completely forgoing animal products because I "need the nutrients." From browsing this sub, I know I am not alone, so I figured I would share.

A friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. We eat together often, and so of course I would like to know what I can offer him that is healthy and tasty for both of us!

I was wondering if anyone could share a few recipes, a few favorite snacks, and a nice dessert or two? (Preferably vegetarian and/or vegan)

What can diabetics normally eat? As far as I am aware (I will do more research on my own!) overeating is bad, and so are too many sugars/carbohydrates.
