A few months ago I had a couple seizures brought on by medication I was proscribed. After that, the tics that I wasn't even aware that I had suddenly hit with full force. It went from a few simple motor and vocal tics, to every tic available. Including coprolalia and paralyzing tics. Before this, I had no idea that the tics were tics and not something everyone had.

They are so bad that I'm becoming terrified of even being in public. I can't help feeling like I must be faking the whole thing, like it's just a cry for attention, even though I hate the attention. Due to the severity of the tics, my age, and the circumstances of their development, my neurologist has taken me out of work for c

[ANSWERED] So, My Ex and I started the process for divorce at the end of last year. I'm not really sure what my filing status is supposed to be. I will still do the taxes for both of us regardless, we're on good terms and I have the more tax experience. We filed jointly last year and were never considered legally separated. Should I just file jointly again since we were still technically married as the divorce wasn't finalized?

So, I did a lot of soul searching on this matter. About how I have been feeling more and more isolated. How it's not really my cousins fault, I don't think she intentionally meant to hurt me. Rather just was unsure whether she could talk about me. I came to the conclusion that I am probably more at fault for all of this then she was. I never "officially" came out to my cousins. I never included any of them in any part of my transition. I just took it for granted that they would accept me and we could just move forward with our lives.

This was my mistake. I can see now that it wa

[UPDATED]

It was a very heartwarming thing to read, but left me feeling like an outcast. Through this whole post, about how trans people deserve the same respect as others and how close to home it is because of her best friend, not once did she mention me, her own flesh and blood. I get that she is definitely closer to her friend, but still, sometimes I'd like to feel supported too. This is the first cousin I came out to, the one that would always hang out with me at family functions. Why am I not even an after thought?

This all stems back to this growing disconnection that I've been having

I quickly swelled up to a B cup when I started hormones. Growth stopped after about 6 months and I've had the same perky little B cups for about 2 years now.

I've already been resigned to the fact that I will need BA to achieve breast size and shape that will fit my torso. So, imagine my surprise this past week when my boobs decide they are going to start growing like crazy again. I completely fill up all of my bras now, and I don't think this growth spurt is over yet. I might need C cups in the not so distant future! This just goes to show, what my doctor always said and I never wanted to believe, be patient with your boobs. They can go through many different growth spurts at different ti

I have been married for 3 years, 2 of which I was living as a woman. My wife and I got married with the full knowledge that I would be transitioning. But after a lot of internal crisis' on her part she came to the conclusion about 6 months ago, that she could not be married to a woman. This rejection was hard on me. But I have been healing over time and trying to move on.

Flash forward to now, I'm finally starting to go out and be social again. I start hanging out at my old job, which is this fun little cafe. I keep running into this guy who was always one of our regulars. I'm pansexual, and I've always kind of lusted after this guy. Never making a move of course, since I was married. But n

She is having trouble breathing and is clearly having an allergic reaction. The Doctor hurriedly gives her medication and puts her on oxygen. Once the reaction starts going down and she is able to breathe again the doctors starts asking about everything she's eaten in the past 2 hours. After narrowing it down the doctor says:

"Well, I have good news and bad news. Good news is I think I know what cause the reactions. Bad news is, I don't think yours are the only nuts that you're allergic to."

I've been on hormones for 22mo now, and I'm not visibly trans to the public (I hate referring to it as passing). Lately I've begun to notice that I am currently occupying a higher rung on the social ladder than I did as a male. People give me more respect, are more willing to listen to me, and just generally all around more friendly.

I was an omega male for the most part. People generally respected and listened to me, but there was always that distrust of me as an outsider. I feel like people could sense my false self-esteem for what it was, a facade. Because of this I was often discredited, and pushed aside in favor of louder, more self-assured voices. Then, when it was discovered I was r

I've tried to find similar threads on here but have had no luck. I've been looking into SRS a lot lately, and of course it's very costly. I was wondering what means might be at my disposal as far as financing goes. Those of you that are post-op, how did you pay? As it is now, I feel like I have no chance of affording the surgery, but I'm also pretty stingy.
